Thank you TVC70... I will be ordering from vapor world then. Can't wait till I can pop some claptons on it....Getting new vaping gear is damn addictive...lol... Thank you again TVC70 and rice721. I will report back once I receive the tank and get a clapton on it....

By the way rice721, if you read this, you mentioned that the supreme was not your daily driver...if you don't mind, what is your daily go to tank?

Hey TVC70 or anyone else who has the ohmega 30mm tank... Should i order some M3 x 4mm screws as well. I noticed on the ohmega tank's thread TVC70 directed me to...others were saying they threw away the screws that came with the tank and ordered different ones... but some said m3 x 3m and other m3 x 4mm... any thoughts? thank you....

I would suggest it. The screws that come with the BFT have very shallow Phillips heads on them. They little driver that comes with the tank works okay if you file a bit of the tip off and use smaller gauge wire. You can also get decent results using a small flat head driver that's narrow enough to fit in the slots. For larger stuff (like Claptons), I foresee the heads being stripped out in fairly short order, regardless of what driver you use. For now I'm using Allen head screws from Mr. Metric's website. They work far better than the stock ones, though I think flat head screws would be ideal (haven't come across any M3x4 grub/set screws with slot heads yet, though).

I don't think the heads on those would fit. I just measured the screws on one side and they are 3.75mm apart on center, with about 1.3mm between them when measured from the edges. The heads of your screws really would have to be 4mm or less in diameter to comfortably fit, and most of the M3 screws like that are more like 5-6mm diameter at the head. :(

Thank you so much TVC70...I fell asleep last night, just saw your post with the sizes. Thanks much for the detailed measurements. I realized also that the ohmega thread also was talking about grub (set) screws and not the one i linked to. I just took their measurements and entered them into amazon.

I have some small set screws at home that may fit the profile..if not I will try home depot with the measurements you gave. Thank you again :). Can't wait till the the tank gets here, dying to play with it...hehe

Hello Guys and Gals...

Just received the Alpha BFT...this thing is huge...hehe. It came with a couple of prebuilt clapton coils which Im about to pop on right about now. I thought I had grub (set) screws to fit it but don't actually have that size... guess ill try hardware store with measurements TVC70 provided...

Am I correct in that the tank doesn't have airflow control, its set and i can't change it? Thanks....

Yes, airflow is fixed. I didn't even think of that when I suggested it. I hope it's not an issue for you.
Hey TVC70,

Not at all my friend...I don't ever mess with the airflow anyway...only opening it if I have accidentally closed it.... I was just making sure I wasn't being a dumb ... and simply overlooking how to open or close it.

Thank you again for all your help.. absolutely love this deck build....I'm going to get to building some claptons... hehe
