I'm looking for an rta that has a lot of air flow and juice flow for keeping up with sub ohm coils and thick juice. I make my diy juice around 90% vg. I mainly use a mutation x v3 and a troll rda. I would like it to work well on my signum mech mod and my sigeli 100W+. I have a kayfun but it just isn't hitting the spot after getting into rda's. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Zephyrus would be a good option. I have my kayfuns... kfl+ and v4... but I preferred a looser draw with the flavor. Another option would be the Atlantis 2 or Lemo 2 for similar good draws and various degrees of flavor. With the Zephyrus and Lemo, you can have a rebuildable deck to suit your preferences. I didn't include the Subtank Mini because heavy VG type juices don't perform as well but the flavoring is pretty decent. There are tons of RTA's to chose from but my choice is the Zephyrus.

As you can see, lots of RTAs meet the air flow juice flow criteria. Add a few more to narrow the field: tweak the build without emptying the tank; easy build; bigger build deck; fill without tools; dual coil; single coil; small size; large juice capacity etc, etc. What do you really like or dislike in a tank? There is so much quality product out there right now it's like a new era for vapers.

I do like the fact that now you can rebuild or wick without emptying the tank. Ease of filling would be a big plus as well. An easy deck to build on is always a plus. Basically I'm just looking for something cost effective that I can run a 0.2-0.5 ohm coil in and blow clouds comparable to a dripper with pith having to drop on the go.

A decent juice capacity is a plus to but not so much that it becomes unwieldy

For cost effective as a criteria, I often buy stuff in the clearance section from a lot of suppliers. For many reasons unrelated to performance, many tanks just don't catch on or fall out of favor. If you are flexible, many bargains to be had. Orchid clones, all versions, I've seen here and there for under ten bucks and I have a v2 I picked up at that price a while ago. Fogger the same. At 20 bucks are goblin and goliath. Etc. I just ordered a Big Buddha today for $9.95 that someone here at ECF pointed me to. They will all run .2-.5 and blow clouds with good flavor. A really good build on a good dripper isn't yet matched by any tank but a simple build on a dripper is now matched by lots of tanks.

I don't mind spending $30 or $40 on a tank as long is it will last me a wile. I just don't want to make the same mistake I did when I bought my kayfun. Which is now a $100 piece of steel that sits on my desk

You can improve the wicking of the Subtank ,mini. And Nano by wrapping your own coils for the heads and not packing the organic cotton too tight. I do that. With 70/30 DIY EJuice

I was considering that. Plus with the improved rba deck it has the holes in the side for extra wicking goodness

That makes sense if you build your own coils. There is still an issue with using pre-built coils for heavy VG juices.
Are you using the new deck as well for the STM?

I don't have one. I'm in the process of looking for a rta at the moment. Just been doing some research about them. I have to say. The new sub tank mini is a decent contender. With the rebuild/rewick without dumping juice and the white one is pretty Damn slick imo
