Oly, I did ask Sdh to stop by if she is able to help with the tobaccos. She is a tobacco vaper and would be much able to tell you her opinions of the ones she has tried.

BTW- I gave most of my old Chinese stuff away too lol I have a tiny amount in the freezer and I don't think that it could ever get bad enough for me to use it. I know. Never say never, right?:laugh:

I only tried the Cohiba and Winston from RTS. They do make a nice base for adding other flavors. I have vaped them as stand alone. For me I can only vape Chinese tobacco flavors. I have tried the "other brands". They taste too per-fumy or smell like talcum powder.

Is there a "cross-reference" for the chinese tobacco flavors on RTS? I can guess some of them, like Type 5 would be 555? Type W = Winston? N= Newport? USA = Red/Marlb? But what are some of the others, like Types C, K, P, L D...?

C= camel
K= Kent
P= Pall Mall
L= L&M
D= Dunhill

Pretty sure that is right.

Hey Randy was going to place an order tonight but your website will not allow me to select the base mixture on nic juice at 1000 ml bottle not sure if I am doing something wrong or not please look at this as it shows to be in stock.

Thanks!

If you are not able to choose the base, they are out of stock. Even though it may look like they have stock by the numbers, they do not.

OOPs I see Salem figured this out! I must be way off.

Hmmm I am not 100% sure. K may be for Kool too. Maybe Randy will be by to tell us for sure. I am thinking that P was Pall Mall but heck it could be Parliament.

They had closer names on site but they have to be careful not to use the exact names of the cigs.

Thanks, salemgold.

Has anyone tried the Pall Mall? I used to smoke them.

The thing is that none of the tobaccos will taste like your cigs did. It is impossible to recreate that same taste in vapor as you got from actually burning tobacco. Unfortunately for some :(

Your best bet may be to grab a few and try them.

You are correct Salem. I cannot comment because of Phillip Morris lawsuit against us regarding FA brand they call Cowboy which we call Cowland and TFA calls Type "M" which we call type " USA". This is more than the typical cease and desist letter on Type "USA", PM USA does not own the copyright on the name of our country. This is another $15k we have tied up ATM.

Note: In the description we say original and menthol. Since nothing has to do with real cig brands I could guess who is the most popular cig brand starting with that letter for someone over 40. Just a wild ... assumption, but maybe type "k" original is kent and type "k" menthol is Kool. Who knows. it is only hypothetical anyway.

True. I did go to your site and look to see which had menthol and which did not. That would be a good clue.

I don't want to get the thread off-topic, but I love the TFA DK Tobacco base. :)

So sorry but, I am not at all a tobacco vaper. There are a few of the Chinese tobaccos that I use as a base to make for others that are tobacco vapers. I have a friend that has tried some of the Chinese tobacco flavors. I will ask her to stop by here with her thoughts for you.

PG based nic is easier to handle IMO But, if I had to get VG based, it would not be a deal killer for me. RTS nic is good enough and pure enough IMO that either would be just fine.

BTW- I don't think that you are going OT at all talking about the flavorings that RTS carries. A change of subject may be a wecome relief for many ;)

PS- It is true that PG holds up a little better than VG. If you get nic in VG base and the PG does not bother you, just cut it down with some PG before freezing :)[/QUOTE]

Well, I hope that I can deal with the thickness of the VG and I hope it will last in the freezer until I use the 750ml that I just ordered. I Plan to freeze it in 120ml cobalt glass, is this okay to do? Will it mix okay with the flavors and do I need to add a larger percentage of flavor to it?

Thanks for the help.

dmall, if you are going to make a 100% VG liquid, you may need to add 10% distilled water to your mixes to thin. It will be fine to use the cobalt blue bottlles to freeze your VG based nicotine in :)

VG is very muting to the flavors so you may need to increase your flavor % when using 100% VG.

Well this is my first nic order..I got the 250ml...would it be worth my time to freeze a bit of this? Sorry if this is off topic and thanks in advance.

Freeze half of it. When in doubt just freeze it. Freezing it always best even if you are not freezing it correctly it is still better than leaving it at room temperature.
