Yeah, it's all still rumors, but I keep reading net 30 days past FDA "ruling". If the FDA is already "warning" various companies of what's to come, it almost sounds like their still looking for fuel. I would imagine they want to establish the quantity of nic that is being purchased by individuals and dealers in the last couple of months and use this against us. Not only did they cause this shortage but they fully intended this to happen to benefit their causes.

Everyone should know the FDA has scared the hell out of many banks and our subcontracted lab we use for extraction. The FDA sent letters to all US banks in January warning them of their upcoming deeming regulations and how the banks would be prosecuted and fined to the fullest extent of the law if they are found to be helping e-cig companies break the law. VMS dropped about 150 e-cig accounts about 2 weeks ago. This is only going to get worse.

I don't know about that but I do believe that once the regulations are made public, things will start happening right away. Best to be as prepared as possible.

I agree Salem, I recieved a hefty order from RTS about a month ago. I am prepared!!! I will be making another nic order once Randy has time to restock and catch up though.

You were smarter than I was. I planned to stock once he got the nic in on the 4th. Little did I know that he would be down just after getting that nic and then not have very much when he got back online.

One thing is certain. I will get nic from Randy next week or I will have to go back to cigs. I just can't go back to the strong tasting Chinese stuff again. Ever.

Not saying that I am out lol Old salem will not let herself get too low on nic

So glad your working it out Randy. With my order last month, I'm set... But I want to keep a few friends in stock so I'll be back for more. I told my buddy I would give him my Chinese stock I have left for less just to get rid of it and he'd rather have your stuff as well. lol
Only 500ml's left of that, so I'm sure it'll go as soon as/if prohibition sets in.

Also I only originally intended on ordering 120ml of 60mg, because this is my first wave of DIY stuff. Have a gallon of PG/VG sitting at the house, but given what happened to RTS it scared the bejeezus out of me since I'm fairly new to this hobby, and I ordered 250ml instead. So I'm going to stay glued and probably order another hefty bottle in the next couple weeks just to be a safe. Want to be down to 0-6mg nic in the next year, but I want to make sure I have plenty.

So sorry but, I am not at all a tobacco vaper. There are a few of the Chinese tobaccos that I use as a base to make for others that are tobacco vapers. I have a friend that has tried some of the Chinese tobacco flavors. I will ask her to stop by here with her thoughts for you.

PG based nic is easier to handle IMO But, if I had to get VG based, it would not be a deal killer for me. RTS nic is good enough and pure enough IMO that either would be just fine.

BTW- I don't think that you are going OT at all talking about the flavorings that RTS carries. A change of subject may be a wecome relief for many

PS- It is true that PG holds up a little better than VG. If you get nic in VG base and the PG does not bother you, just cut it down with some PG before freezing

Plus, as Randy has stated, nic seems to stay fresh longer in PG for some reason. I like to keep my more concentrated nic in PG, in the freezer, in glass (cobalt or amber - not sure that matters) to keep it fresh as long as possible.

Don't use pipettes for VG especially, it'll hang on the sides and throw your measurements way off. Syringes (with a wide gauge blunt needle) are the only way to go IMO.

Oly, I did ask Sdh to stop by if she is able to help with the tobaccos. She is a tobacco vaper and would be much able to tell you her opinions of the ones she has tried.

BTW- I gave most of my old Chinese stuff away too lol I have a tiny amount in the freezer and I don't think that it could ever get bad enough for me to use it. I know. Never say never, right?
