Heya Randy. Just discovered your site while I was looking into starting to DIY. Your prices are unbeatable from all the research I've done on other vendor sites. I was looking for a discount code and the SAVE20 expired last week :( Do you have another similar coupon or an upcoming sale for a $100+ order that might save me a few bucks? I found the FIRSTORDER coupon code, but that only applies to liquid nic. Was hoping to save on the flavors and other DIY equipment I have in my cart.

At the moment, the next sale will probably be July 4th weekend in celebration of our 2 year anniversary.

FlavourArt

Received an e-mail from FlavourArt that the order we placed February 21 has been transferred from production to their shipping department. Not sure what that means as far as delivery to us because FlavourArt only knows 2 speeds: slow and reverse.

Edit: I will say that this is a huge order. The largest we have ever placed to any flavor manufacturer.

Capella Flavors

We currently have 54 Capella Flavors on our website available for purchase. We have 18 additional Capella Flavors in stock and ready to add, however, it will take until probably next Thusday to have them all added because we are requiring the strictest quality control measures to our staff in the re-bottling of these flavors.

Memorial Day

RTS will be closed for Memorial Day. The website will be open to purchase but please be advised your orders over the weekend will be delayed by an additional day.

Customer Service

Our staff is on holiday until Tuesday morning 8:00 eastern time.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding

Randy

They are in FedEx hands in Shanghai. FedEx expected delivery date to us is May 29. We ordered 30 tobacco flavors for starters. If they sell well, we will expand the line.

I got plenty of flavors, but July 4th sounds good for trying some different brands. :D

The NC Senate passed SB 530 with a vote of 48-1, and the bill now goes to the NC House. It will surely pass the North Carolina House of Representatives which has more democrats than the Senate. Governor's signature is meaningless since the legislature will easily have the 2/3 majority to override his veto.

What does this mean to our customers?

We have to implement a robust age verification software by a third party on all internet sales. This will be a pain in the ... to all our customers and us which is exactly why RJ Reynolds sponsored the bill. FYI, there are a lot of E-Cig online companies in North Carolina and Big Tobacco controls North Carolina.

The bill currently says implementation by December 1st. We will have to wait for the wording of the final law but we are hoping your age will have to be verified only once and not with every order. The law applies to all sales, meaning all states and countries since our liquid nicotine operations are based out of North Carolina.

Oh, dammit! That is going to be a PITA. SC is now facing a bill being passed that is even worse than that though :( I have written, emailed and done everything that I am able to but, they are going to do what they want to in the end. It really is not looking good at all for many places in the country.

Right before I quit smoking, I was buying cigs from Europe. I had to fax a copy of my drivers license to them one time to keep on file in order to buy from them. Hopefully, that is all that will happen here.

From what I have read of the South Carolina bill, I believe you can still buy DYI from us here in North Carolina because we are not a retailer in South Carolina.

The solution we have been looking at since late February, when we had our credit card processor drop us, will be web based verification through our shopping cart. From what I have been told by banks it is only 70% to 80% accurate on identifying adults which means the other 20% to 30% would have to fax in proof of age. It surely is an added expense and will put RTS at a disadvantage to our non NC competitors.

if enacted, this bill would:

Tax sales of e-cigarette products containing nicotine ("vapor products") at 5 cents per milliliter of liquid.

Require e-cigarette retailers who import nicotine-containing products from other states to obtain a license to sell tobacco products and abide by lengthy regulations.

Make it a criminal offense for consumers to buy an untaxed e-cigarettes online unless they file a tax return with the South Carolina Department of Revenue by the 20th of each month.

We should have a better idea of what is going to happen tomorrow but, it could put many vendors in our state right out of business.
