Look closely at the picture I posted. What do you think I'm using as the insulator? It's the silicon tubing I'm talking about, and a replacement for what you guys are looking for.

Edit: my post might have sounded a wee bit snarky. Didn't mean it to come across that way.

Yes, I've been using the tubing as the insulator for quite a number of months. Never had to toss one out yet.

But it might take a couple of tries in the beginning before you get the hang of squeezing it in.

What about the O rings that seal the glass tube on protank 2 mini. Is there a good source for them? In case I squish one too hard?

Just go to amazon and type in nylon shouder insulators, or m3 nylon isulator in the search box, that will give you the find your looking for. Think its 100 for 6 bucks shipped.

It comes back as "Currently Unavailable" and goes on to say they don't know if or when they will be available. The search continues.
