Runner X vaping in the NYC Marathon

I've been checking the online media and can't find any mention of this guy. Has anyone come across a print or video item on him? His purpose was to show that vaping can be part of a healthy life style. I was hoping it would be a good publicity thing for vaping and vapers.

It was on vape team live a week or so ago. It starts about 6:45 although the rest of it is worth watching - Dr. Farsalinos is on talking about his recently released study on e-liquids.

I would think if a NYC Marathon runner wanted to

He would make sure there would be a video or at least
be documented by those who would post it on the Net
with a picture of him vaping.

Well, I actually met him!

The Smoke Free Alternatives Trade Association is holding their Fly In to talk with staff of Federal representatives tomorrow. They held a reception tonight and invited CASAA directors in the DC area to attend. I was talking with a guy I had just met, telling him that Kurt (my husband) and I had just returned from VaperCon in Richmond VA. He mentioned how tired he was because he, too, was at VaperCon, then flew to New York City to run in the marathon and that he was vaping while running.

I exclaimed, "You're Runner X!"

So we chatted and laughed a bit about it. Then he had someone take a photo of him, me, and Kurt.

I am very relieved that he actually got a chance to run and vape! I was a little worried that he had been stopped from running as I hadn't heard anything. A big thank you and "hat's off" to Runner X.

Pictures or video would have been great but in actuality, I never had issues with smoking and physical activity. I could smoke a pack of cigarettes while doing a century bike ride.

I was able to do that as well. I do one about every other week.
