No ideas or theories?
Is it possible that running too low a voltage could contribute to excessive build up of gunk on the coil, which could then cause the user (me) to take longer draws in order to get enough vapor?
With the excessive build-up insulating the coil from cooling off properly, and the longer draws causing the coil to be energized for longer periods, the coil might tend to overheat and fail.
Conversely, higher voltage would mean more efficient vaporizing of the liquid, resulting in less build-up, better cooling, and shorter draws.
In my mind, it seems logical that less time energized, plus better cooling between cycles, should equal longer life for the atty.
Am I way off base here?
