On a VV device, the resistance of the coil has little to do with how fast the battery drains. It's the watts that matter, since most people like to vape at the same watts (or close to) regardless of LR or SR, the battery drain would be the same.

OP, if you've noticed a drop in battery life, there only a handful of explanations: you are vaping more, you are vaping at higher watts than you used to, battery is headed south, or any combination of the previous.

yea i've noticed my 1000mah twists are getting shorter and shorter between charges over the last 2 weeks, i chain vape them in rotation, 2 1000mah, and a 650mah, im probably getting 5-7 hours off one 1000mah batt, the 650 about 3 hours, this is all constant use, hell if i can get 3 months out of them before they croak im happy, gives me an excuse to mod shop :)

I'm thinking the same... I'm watching Smoktech Gripper VV with care... The Provari is too fiddly for me, I prefer a simpler mod.

Sus....I'm right there with you. I honestly don't know what to look at; Provari is out (like to keep things SIMPLE). I don't need the high voltage since I've never had the Twist over 4. Only prob is some of the battery stories scare the heck out of me.

Well...running a 1.8 ohm on a 3.8 volt is hitting around 8 watts. That's a pretty hefty wattage for a small device like the Twist. Not that surprising that it's not lasting all that long...regardless of the posted mAh.

I run my 1.7 ohm at around 3.4 volt usually...which gives me 6.8 watts, I get LOTS of vapor and flavor and my batteries last pretty good. Of course, I am using a 18650 2200 mAh eGo T mod. I don't get any 20 hours of vaping time though...that is for sure! Those higher watts are gonna burn through your charge faster.

Eh, my eGo's are 900's and I was charging them every 4 hours or so also. So I got the Provari. Now I usually vape through one 18650, and 2 900 egos's all in a day. That mah stuff is all speculation as far as I am concerned. I go through at least 3800 mah in a day, and I sleep some also so 100 mah = 1 hour is malarkey.

I seriously chain vape. YMMV

AI chain vape and get 6+ hours from a Riva 650 with a 2ohm Boge. I dont understand Why so many people are getting such short charge times from their bigger batteries. Could the Riva batteries be that much better? For the most part, I put them on the charger after around 6 hours and they have lasted just over 7 hours before they shut off.

Use protected batteries of known sources. I came across the 18650 when my dad rebuilt his notebook battery. Ultrafire are good, the protected ones. That keeps them from blowing up, the battery stops charging by itself.

What puzzles me the most... The 1000 pass lasts 12 solid hours. Yesterday for the first time in a month I saw it's demise. There's got to be something in between... I use 4.0 with certain liquids and with others barely 3.2. Also depends on the mood, if I'm craving or busy elsewhere.

JOYETECH WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE A TWIST PASSTRHOUGH!!!!

Sus - I use the joye C upgrade passthru & keep it on the higher voltage, I must say it's great; confession tho, the first one I had melted while plugged into my pc the first week I had it. Burnt the heck out of everything including my fingers, not good. The replacement has been awesome & I'm thinking of getting a few more of those. Are you familiar with the ego-q 1100 or ego-k 1100?

Yes! I'm rather waiting for the iTaste VV to arrive. I think it's the new Twist, now they've gotten rid of the magnetic conector...

Thanx! I'm going to look that one up....I've heard a few complaints about the magnetic connector - you can go nuts trying to keep up with 85 new gidgees every day.
