So an update....
Tried one coil on a 1.4mm or so drill bit with 30awg or higher with a 11 wraps and got a reading of 0.9ohms, wouldnt fire.
Tried again same drill bit but 21 wraps. it was reading stupidly high (around 8ohms) so via trial and error I kept on shortening it until it read 1.8-2.3 ohms. Its now sitting on 1.9ohms and firing
However, it is very slow to actually heat up even with 4.2v+. doing some test burns and the vapour production is pitiful.
So on one hand I have come to rule out that the russian is faulty & its my terrible builds that are the root cause for atomizer shorts.
However I dont understand why its so slow to heat up and why vapour production is so poor?
