After reading all the recommendations here I decided to make the move to a rebuildable. My authentic Russian 91% arrived on Friday. When i took it apart i noticed that the positive (I think) terminal swivels from side to side. Seems to me that this should stationary. It's hard to attach a coil on a moving target and I am worried that it will move even after the coil is attached. I thought i might be able to tighten it up from the bottom but this is the the latest model with the floating center pin so I am hesitant to just pull the pin out of the deck. Can you tell me if the movement is normal and if not how I might go about fixing it? Here are some pics of the terminal in various positions.

Yes it does. Best to tighten that centre pin and leave it alone. And then check the ohms before you put the chimney on.

In fact I had my R91 go zero ohms on me when all I had done was refill it. Since then I've retightened the centre pin and not tightened the battery pin so much (they're separate on the R91.)

If they had designed it just a little better those terminals would miss each other when they swiveled.

There is no slot to tighten it with - maybe i can grab the sides with some tweezers or pliers

There should be a special tool with your R91 called a spanner - the end of it resembles a U - this fits over the spring connection on either side, there are groves which you can then turn to tighten.....

However, you will need to hold the block stable while turning the spanner tool and you probably need to be reading this thread too - just in case you have one of the faulty ones....

Many member are experiencing irratic resistance fluctuations with the new Russian 91% V2 which is what you have.

Hope this helps.
