RX 300 Firmware upgrade?

There is a Firmware upgrade for the rx300 and they say it will take it to 400w. is it wise to run at those power levels?

What other advantages are there on the upgraded Firmware

I also got it for the long trips in the car. Never go past 80w. It is way to big to carry around but works well in the car

I've updated my 300, and the only thing that wismec lists for the update is making it a 400 watt mod. I haven't noticed anything else, but there are probably other small bug fixes and optimizations included. It does indeed read out to 400 watts, but the math doesn't add up.
