RX300 won't connect to Arctic Fox

Not sure if this is the right place to post this and if it's not let me know.

So I downloaded Arctic Fox on my computer and plugged in my RX300 and when it tries do download setting I get a message saying "Unable to download device settings. Reconnect your device". So I reconnect and try it again and get this same message. If anyone has had this issue and figured out how to connect their device let me know.

I click on "Create new configuration" it opens up and I set up the configuration I want and when I click download settings I get a message that reads "Something strange happened! Please restart application". If you notice at the bottom of the page it says "Device is connected". Not sure why if my device is being read as connected, why can't it download and why is it giving me the message on the other page where it says to reconnect device?

I clicked the button saying "Firmware Updater" on the first screen and it is reading the device cause it says the device name is the RX300. HELP ME! Lol

At that point you need to download the firmware and then point the updater to the firmware that you downloaded those two things to download that install our program and then the firmware

You lost me there. I downloaded it to my computer. It won't allow me to do anything else. Do you work for Arctic Fox? I sent you a PM. Is there anyway I could call you and have you talk me through it?

No I do not you download the updater tool and then the firmware file that to download links are on that page I sent you in the original post I made

I'm stuck, I've clicked on the af_170201.bin and downloads. I click the download and it comes up saying adobe reader couldn't open the download. What am I supposed to do now

Some one should make a YT how to video in English! I have issues as well, Device manager don't work, when I connect & try d/l settings I get the same as OP. For the most part I can't get this to work!
I can write a bin in updater but I can't seem to modify it.
They say E-Scribe is hard, it's a lot easier than this, for me any way.

I get it now You have to write the AF_17201 to your device first.
Then AF will recognize your device & you can make changes just like in E-Scribe.

Ok here we go
1st down load this Releases · TBXin/NFirmwareEditor · GitHub
Down load this

2nd download the firmware Releases · maelstrom2001/ArcticFox · GitHub
Down load the .bin

Remember were you download it to

3rd Then open up NFE Toolbox

4th click on firmware updater
It'll prompt you to find the firmware that you downloaded select the file

That's it

It doesn't download there just download that file to your desktop to make it easier the firmware that is
