Wismec RX300 Firmware

I've had issues with this device since day one. Downloaded the firmware update, updated, had fun with the logos. Now when I try to connect it to the PC if I hit update or logo it keeps saying "Please set hardware version" and will do nothing?
I've deleted the program and downloaded it back twice but it still keeps asking for me to set the version and I have no clue what it's talking about and it worked the first week.

I have the 300 also but I haven't had an issue like your having. I ended up putting the Arctic Fox firmware on mine and love it. It has a lot more customization for the personal vape your looking for @Outcast has put a short video on how to go about adding the firmware to your device. I would say try and add the Arctic Fox firmware to your 300 and see if that fixes the issue your having. If you don't like the firmware you can always put the original firmware back on the device. Worth a try since I don't think you have any other option.

I don't think he is trying to update from Arctic Fox. I thin he is trying to update original firmware. I mentioned Arctic Fox and if he has any problems or doesn't like it he can download the original firmware.

Hey guys, great your both here. First thanks Wheelin247 for your info. Checked out the link and found Outcast. OK, had to update my Windows Vista with .NET Framework V4.0 from Microsoft for NFE Toolbox and Artic Fox to work. It did indeed update the firmware. I'm now fully updated on my firmware V5.14 but the logo button, yes not the update button lol still is coming up to "Please set the hardware version!" Still can't get the part to work and didn't notice anything in Artic Fox that deals with installing the logos. I could live without it but ....... At least if I'm stuck at least I have the Harley Davidson logo on there lol. If you can think of anything please update me thanks for everything.

I can't think of anything but I had issues just getting AF downloaded so..lol.

:Edit: I just thought if all else fails download the Wismec firmware then download the AF firmware and start over. Hopefully Outcast will have an idea.

So I have a SS build coming in at .43 running it in Tc on the 300 and after about .5 sec of firing the screen shows TCR error. Any idea what could be causing this?

OK try this open up nfe toolbox click advance then hit change HW ver change it to 1.0 then close it out then go to wismec and try do the logo

I couldn't give you any input myself on that since I never run S.S. on TC, only Ni200 and Ti is mandatory. I'm running two 3.5mm (I believe it was) 5/6 wraps (?), 26awg 316L, @ 0.23ohms in a Tornado Hero and the flavor and cloud production is unreal. When I try using 317L it rejected it and kept sending back to wattage mode even after setting it and running on TCR mode so said the hell with it.

Sorry I'm not sure on my numbers, I run seven mechs and four regulated at all times and forget, getting old lol.

Ss runs good in TC just the stock fermware is not all that good is all
