It goes without saying that this is all a matter of opinion but...
I absolutely agree that Tribeca is a go to juice for RY4 fans that have now found out that there are more flavorful versions of RY4 so the old weak cotton candy/athletic sock flavor isn't doing it anymore. Tribeca is sweet and creamy and has a subtle tobacco edge. It's one of my very favorite juices.
Even though I like Tribeca as much as BWB RY4, it will not replace BWB RY4 - Tribeca is in the vein of what you are looking for, but it is a totally different animal. BWB's has that sharp woodsy tobacco edge. I've even tried mixing Backo and Dulce to get a next-best-effort BWB RY4 and it's not even the same thing. It's good, it tastes like something I'd call an RY4, and it's better than your run of the mill RY4, but it's not BWB RY4.
Another good option for a sweet full flavored Tobacco, in my opinion, is Casa and Waffle. I don't actually mix them, I just fill a carto with Casa, vape it awhile, and then alternate topping off with waffle or casa and it has been a surprisingly tasty experience. I actually find the alternating preferable to mixing with most of my BWB "mixing" because each juice has so much to offer so I enjoy the transition back and forth between compatible flavors. Anyway, sweet or not, the truth is spoken: you can't go wrong with Casa Blanca.
I like V4L, but IMO, their RY4 is pretty run of the mill stuff. Last I checked they only have "Premium" RY4, not a "Wow" RY4, and their Premium line is kind of like an improvement on Dekang - in other words, not in the BWB league. They really need to put together a special RY4 for their Wow line or their new USA line.
The only thing keeping me from trying Tribeca right now is the price. It definitely seems like something worth trying, but the price is a bit steep. Plus, when you consider that BWB juices are nearly .50/ml with the coupon, you don't get a much better value than that.
I wasn't sure if it was okay to talk about other vendors in here, but since many others are, I figure I'll add that, as of now, BWB and Vermillion River are my go-to vendors. I truly think they're making the best stuff in the business. Of course, there's many others I haven't tried, especially tobacco flavors. But, if every other vendor on the planet died off besides those two, I'd be perfectly satisfied.
I used to be really into craft beer (still am, in theory) until I developed acute pancreatitis a year ago (I have to be careful about drinking now). The thing I love the most about the e-liquid industry is that it's turned into a replacement for my craft beer hobby. It's so similar in so many ways. With craft beer, you could always tell who cared more about the product than their bottom line (Three Floyds, Dogfish Head, Bells, etc.) and many of them are small time and family owned, and plan to keep it that way. I feel the same way about some of the e-liquid vendors--BWB and VR in particular stand out to me in that way. They both have very unique, high-quality products and excellent customer service. You can tell by how great their products are that a lot of time and effort goes into their juices. And the fact that their owners frequent the forums often shows they care about their customers.
Plus, you know that Don could easily charge a buck/ml and people would still buy the product, and the same goes for Guss. They could stop offering the coupon, and people would still buy the product. The fact that they make their liquids affordable is a testament to the fact that they care about their product and customers. Especially considering that a lot more work probably goes into their liquids than many of the other companies charging much more (not at all ranting about Halo. I just want everyone to be sure this isn't at all directed at them). Alright, I'm getting a little wordy and sentimental, but when I order from either Don or Guss, I feel I'm a part of their families, and that I'm contributing to something important. That's why I love this hobby so much, and it's the same reason I love craft beer (well, that, and because they taste so damn good!)
And yes, I will definitely be sampling some Casablanca. There's too many people telling me to try it; I'm beyond curious now and have to at least give it a shot.
