Have you tried the RY-4 from V4L I know they sell the e liquid

I haven't. I eventually plan to try other RY4's just to see how they all compare, but right now I'm looking for something different. I wanna expand, and add to the types of tobacco flavors that I enjoy. That's why I came here, because I know I stand a pretty good chance of finding some winners among Don's masterpieces (haven't found a flavor from him yet that I don't enjoy).

I'm with you on that. Loved the taste of the Toffee... No I meant Malty. Not so much with the TH, or lack thereof.
Oh, and as far as Malty Toffee, I think I misrepresented myself in an earlier post. I don't not like it. It has a wonderful flavor! I just wish there was more of it. Specifically, I wish it was offered in Don's typical 70PG/30VG blend. If that were the case, I'd definitely start ordering it again. I'm just not a fan of high VG in general.

Is the the tobacco in Bluebacko more pronounced than the tobaccos in Applewood, Melonbacco, and Cherry tobacco? I love those flavors because they're fruity, but not too fruity because of the subtle tobacco/woodsy (in the case of Applewood) flavors in the background. So when I need my fruit fix, I get those. But if Bluebacko is more 50/50 fruit/tobacco then I would expect it to have more of a tobacco taste than the other fruit mixes, where I only detect maybe 20% tobacco flavor at the most in those.
I would rate it at 50/50 The tobacco is definitely more predominate than the other fruitbacco blends.

There is not anything like bwb ry4 in my opinion so far i have tried v4l ry4, bloog ry4, gmv ry4, vaprite vr4, juicy vapor ry4 yuck, and plenty of other tabacco flavors at first i just thought bwb ry4 was good but not great now i am stalking there web site. I would say to try tribecca from halo its not as strong as bwb ry4 but its my all day vape cause i can only get a bottle of bwb ry4 every other month or so. The tribecca is a kind of ry4 that made me hate bloogs ry4 which was a fav flavor so give it a chance and wait for don to get us the good stuff. The only juice i like after spending all kinds of money is bwb ry4, tribecca, and nuport from v4l but i am going to try bwb menthol as long as i dont get scared when getting my next bottle of ry4 from him that its going to get gone b4 i place my order cause that happened one time.

Thanks! I'll have to make a note of the tribecca and try it out some time.

It goes without saying that this is all a matter of opinion but...

I absolutely agree that Tribeca is a go to juice for RY4 fans that have now found out that there are more flavorful versions of RY4 so the old weak cotton candy/athletic sock flavor isn't doing it anymore. Tribeca is sweet and creamy and has a subtle tobacco edge. It's one of my very favorite juices.

Even though I like Tribeca as much as BWB RY4, it will not replace BWB RY4 - Tribeca is in the vein of what you are looking for, but it is a totally different animal. BWB's has that sharp woodsy tobacco edge. I've even tried mixing Backo and Dulce to get a next-best-effort BWB RY4 and it's not even the same thing. It's good, it tastes like something I'd call an RY4, and it's better than your run of the mill RY4, but it's not BWB RY4.

Another good option for a sweet full flavored Tobacco, in my opinion, is Casa and Waffle. I don't actually mix them, I just fill a carto with Casa, vape it awhile, and then alternate topping off with waffle or casa and it has been a surprisingly tasty experience. I actually find the alternating preferable to mixing with most of my BWB "mixing" because each juice has so much to offer so I enjoy the transition back and forth between compatible flavors. Anyway, sweet or not, the truth is spoken: you can't go wrong with Casa Blanca.

I like V4L, but IMO, their RY4 is pretty run of the mill stuff. Last I checked they only have "Premium" RY4, not a "Wow" RY4, and their Premium line is kind of like an improvement on Dekang - in other words, not in the BWB league. They really need to put together a special RY4 for their Wow line or their new USA line.

I'd have to agree Tribecca is a great vape, its very smooth and delish... its also got that great halo base. The only downside is that Halo's juices are pretty expensive :(... That can be easily overlooked though if you consider the quality of the child/proof glass bottle it comes in with a glass dropper and tinted light resistant glass... it's really only a couple bucks more than most decent vendors. With the bad comes the good though, when placing that order be sure to bypass prime15 swiftly unless you relish the idea of vaping sweaty, moldy, gym socks. Hearing Tribecca mentioned here made my ears perk up a bit, now I'm much more interested to try BWB RY4. I wonder if everyone else has their stock notifiers hooked up to their blackberry emails...? lol

The only thing keeping me from trying Tribeca right now is the price. It definitely seems like something worth trying, but the price is a bit steep. Plus, when you consider that BWB juices are nearly .50/ml with the coupon, you don't get a much better value than that.

I wasn't sure if it was okay to talk about other vendors in here, but since many others are, I figure I'll add that, as of now, BWB and Vermillion River are my go-to vendors. I truly think they're making the best stuff in the business. Of course, there's many others I haven't tried, especially tobacco flavors. But, if every other vendor on the planet died off besides those two, I'd be perfectly satisfied.

I used to be really into craft beer (still am, in theory) until I developed acute pancreatitis a year ago (I have to be careful about drinking now). The thing I love the most about the e-liquid industry is that it's turned into a replacement for my craft beer hobby. It's so similar in so many ways. With craft beer, you could always tell who cared more about the product than their bottom line (Three Floyds, Dogfish Head, Bells, etc.) and many of them are small time and family owned, and plan to keep it that way. I feel the same way about some of the e-liquid vendors--BWB and VR in particular stand out to me in that way. They both have very unique, high-quality products and excellent customer service. You can tell by how great their products are that a lot of time and effort goes into their juices. And the fact that their owners frequent the forums often shows they care about their customers.

Plus, you know that Don could easily charge a buck/ml and people would still buy the product, and the same goes for Guss. They could stop offering the coupon, and people would still buy the product. The fact that they make their liquids affordable is a testament to the fact that they care about their product and customers. Especially considering that a lot more work probably goes into their liquids than many of the other companies charging much more (not at all ranting about Halo. I just want everyone to be sure this isn't at all directed at them). Alright, I'm getting a little wordy and sentimental, but when I order from either Don or Guss, I feel I'm a part of their families, and that I'm contributing to something important. That's why I love this hobby so much, and it's the same reason I love craft beer (well, that, and because they taste so damn good!)

And yes, I will definitely be sampling some Casablanca. There's too many people telling me to try it; I'm beyond curious now and have to at least give it a shot.

 I have mine hooked up to my Droid e-mail. That, and eJoker. I've been dying to get my hands on some of that!

Although I am a huge BWB fan, Tribeca is quite good. It was the first 30ml bottle of anything that I polished off! Though its no replacement for BWBRY4. I tried a Halo sampler and did not like any of their other juices. In fact I have tried numerous samples and sample packs from several vendors and none of them have touched BWB.

lol. I remember when I first started vaping and had 50 bottles of 5 and 10ml of juice laying around from trying everything. I had an equal number or cartomizers laying around for the same reason. I thought juice and cartos lasted forever because I was switching around so much that I never seemed to reach the bottom of anything.

Now, while some juices may last a long time, with my favorites it's like "damn? this doesn't come in anything bigger than 30ml?". I need bulk options to reduce my costs now. Too bad there aren't any at my favorite vendors. The only vendor that has one of my favorite juices and does sell huge bottles - that one gouges you on the price and it's still the most expensive juice I buy.

Well, I'm happy to report that I placed my order, and don't be mad  but I didn't order Casa. I'm sure I will eventually, but I wanted to play it safe and try some more of Don's blends before I venture into the more straight tobacco variations.

What I did order is:
Bluebacko
Honey Flu
Hazelnut Tobacco
Maple Tobacco

I'm beyond excited! I even had a dream last night that I was vaping the Hazelnut and was in heaven, lol, true story.

im sure this thread caused someone to order something from don everything he makes is great in its own way.:rules: lol j/k

Ya true that. Get anyone into a bwb forum for any reason and its only a matter of time before they have to notice that there is nothing but praise for the backwoods goodness. Too bad this thread is pointing people to the RY4...the less people want the RY4 the better chance I have of scoring some lol.
