Are the RY4 and 555 tobacco flavors and if so, are they sweet at all, and do they all taste the same from different vendors, or different?

I cringe when I think about lighting up a cigarette again, because especially in the last year, they tasted just awful. So I'm not looking for a 'real' cigarette tasting juice. But I am looking for a different kind of taste than the usual juices. I so much wish I could explain, maybe something a little toasted but with a faint sweetness.

I'm with Saints on this one. Like the 555 alot better then RY4. Gonna have to try from different vendors though. I haven't had any flavors that taste exactly the same from different suppliers. Here's something you may also want to try. I didn't care for Cuban Cigar all that much until I added 25% 555 to it. It's a nice tobacco flavor for me now.

RY4 Is a caramel/tobacco flavor, 555 is a nutty/tobacco flavor. RY4 is my all day flavor. Most places have it and they are similar tasting. But the 555 varies from store to store. My facvorite has been from "My vapor Store" because it was smooth and nutty flavored. Other places have been spicier or has peppery undertones.
Oh, and RY4 stands for Runyan formula #4.

RY4 is super sweet and i dont think its a tobacco flavor. I like it but couldnt vape it all day. Its like candy IMO. Definitely worth buying. Haven't tried 555. WIth all these flavors, I find myself vaping tobacco less and less. My next order probably wont have any tobacco flavors.

Not all RY4 is sweet. Dekang version is. Joye version not so much. And it is always listed in the tobacco listings but frankly, I've never gotten the tobacco taste - perhaps faintly but I'm pretty sure it is a base. It's just the other stuff is stronger, unlike Hilton, Kent, flu cured, virginia where you have a good tobacco flavor plus something else.

Just to put it out there, thus far I have yet to run across any flavor that tasted at all like a cig, which is awesome. Sometimes with the tobacco I'll get a hint of a nice cigar flavor, sometimes sweet, maybe nutty. Just all around nice, unlike a cig.

RY4 as mentioned above is a caramel tobacco, which a co-worker of mine said that it tasted a bit like a caramel espresso. Sweet, with a hint of a nutty flavor. I love RY4 and smoke that more then any other flavor so far, Vanilla, and Red Bull pulling up closely behind.

I have 555 and it has a rather nutty flavor, like some cigars do, and has the closest thing to a tobacco flavor I've noticed. The Marlboro is pretty close to that, but still taste nothing like a regular cig. That stuff is dirt, tastes like dirt. I don't think anyone is interested in making burning dirt flavor.

With juice discussions you rarely get the same answer twice. I like RY4 better than 555 personally.

I think Marlboro is the best and most like a cigarette.

I enjoy watching the juice review videos, but more and more I find them of limited use. You really have to try it and see if you like it.

I suggest cleaning out your atomizer before trying a new flavor though. You might get some strange combinations otherwise. :D

A sampler would be a good idea, or just pick out a few popular flavors and take a chance. Its pretty fun to try them out.

BTW Hilton and 555 make a nice mix.

I don't get along with the marlboro at all, but I have vowed to smoke at least two carts of it a day (just to get rid of the damn stuff!).

Adding some RY4 has made it more tolerable, that said, it's still my least favorite vape to date.

.
I agree, the marlboro is my least favorite as well. Yet, mixing it with another juice seems to make it just fine to get through. It still tastes much better then a normal cig though. You will get spoiled by all the other flavors, that's a given.

Goony & Scrye - yeah, it's all a matter of personal taste..."one mans meat is another mans poison" as they say. :)

I am concentrating on stocking up on stuff I regularly vape right now, but I'm gonna have a little blow out at Christmas and just order a stack of "fun flavours" like apple, blueberry, red bull, chocolate, green tea etc.

Edit: apart from all the health advantages, this hobby is so much more fun than smoking... mucking around with new flavours and mixing them up etc.

Not all juices are created equal, I have found that out the hard way.
My best advice is find a few great suppliers and try their samples.
I have had 2 differing ry4 1 is almost able to be vaped, the other I mean seriously I have no idea what it tastes like. I might have to try and cut it down.
