Hello! Just got some new juices, thought I'd post some reviews and impressions! I am a relatively new member and this is my first review. I hope it's helpful!
I purchased some these juices from myfreedomsmokes.com, although I am not affiliated with them in any way and paid full price for them.
All flavors reviewed at 18mg by dripping on a 510 atomizer, e-go battery.
RY4
This is a flavor with which almost every vaper is familiar. I have not had the privilege of tasting some of the higher end RY4s, namely backwoods brew, so unfortunately the only comparison I can make is with Joye's RY4, and the bottle I received from myfreedomsmokes compares very favorably. There are familiar notes of vanilla and caramel, but the tobacco base seems a bit more complex than lesser quality variants. It has a dark and slightly woody undertone, which I enjoy. Its sweetness is present but not overpowering, and it produced a smooth and satisfying throat hit. I ordered 40ml and was not at all disappointed. Recommended.
Dunhill
Tobacco flavor, slightly sweet, although not as much as the RY4. It reminded me of turkish style tobacco and bears a strong resemblance in flavor to a bottle of turkish juice I recently ordered from cignot. It has some slightly spicy undertones and its throat hit is somewhat sharper, but not harsh. Not my favorite of the bunch, but certainly one I could vape all day.
Turbosmog
I purchased this flavor on a whim based on some customer reviews from the site itself. Its flavor is complex in a way I do not enjoy. It has a tobacco base, with what seemed to be some dry fruit notes. The flavors did not seem to mesh well together and the overall effect was what can only be described as medicinal or sickly sweet. Of course everyone's palette is different, and perhaps this juice is an acquired taste, although I gave my bottle to my friend who shared my sentiments.
DK-TAB
This is the only DK-TAB I have tasted, although I understand it is a somewhat commonly produced juice (any info or history appreciated.) It has a decidedly woody tobacco-like flavor, which is a base for a pronounced nuttiness on the exhale - a subtle smoky almond flavor. Not at all sweet. Produces a punchy and pleasant throat hit with plenty vapor. This may be my new favorite juice, and I will continue to purchase this particular variation as well as try other vendors' examples. Highly recommended for those of you who prefer tobacco flavors, as I do.
555 State Express
This juice has a mild tobacco base, with some sweet hints as well, although none of them as defined or recognizable as the RY4. It is very light in color and the flavor, while pleasant, seems slightly diluted or mild. The throat hit is a bit scratchy, but not entirely unpleasant. I found the flavor satisfying but unremarkable, and I might consider using it to sweeten up my DK-TAB without overpowering its flavor.
Conclusion
I very much enjoy most of the flavors I purchased. I will not be reordering the turbosmog, but even as I dislike it I concede its flavor is interesting. DK-TAB was by far my favorite, and may even unseat RY4 as my all-day vape. As a side note, myfreedomsmokes earns top marks in customer service. My shipment arrived in two days, and included a free pipette and empty mixing bottle as a nice perk. I will be purchasing from them again.
Thanks to all who read my review! I've gotten lots of good information from many of the forum members and am glad I could contribute in any way.
Feel free to ask any questions or supply additional information that would help further. Thanks again!
