RY4 Kills cartos?

I have noticed that the cartos i fill with RY4 (from Vixen Vapors if it matters) don't last nearly as long as the ones with other juices in them. Could there be something I'm doing differently (wrong) with the Ry4 or do some juices just wear out cartos more quickly?

The issue with the "bad" cartos is a distinct and unpleasant burnt taste.

I'm not familiar with that Ry4, but in "general" darker/sweeter juices will gunk up coils faster and give off a burned juice taste more often (and sooner) than clear not sweet juices will. Now if it's a burnt taste (filler material) that is different and you don't have it filled properly or the juice is not wicking well enough

Thanks for the response Jim Bob. I'm glad to hear that this is normal for darker juices and not just me, even if it does mean more money spent on cartos. The taste is similar to a carto that has run dry, but since it's just the Ry4 and none of my other juices improper filling seems unlikely.

On a slightly related note, can anyone suggest a good 808 clearomizer other than the fluxomizer? I'd like to try these but the response from gotvapes was that it would be a few weeks for more fluxomizer stock. I found some at madvapes but they were not very well reviewed overall.

It depends on the RY4. The one I use is light in color and I have no problem with it hurting my cartos any more than any other.

I've found that adding about 1/30 water helps a lot with thicker juices without affecting the flavor.
