S/S mesh In Iatty(1)

Hi Guys(as Imeo say's).............
Im sure this has prob been talked about before, but... I have some S/steel mesh, has anyone or does anyone know if/how I can use it in my Iatty(original Iatty as opposed to Oddy) please and thank you chaps

Brilliant Gredie, many thanks,Im off then with my mesh and wire, if you cant see me its becuase of the Plooms by all accounts, just not a lover of the rope/fibrelass stuff!!

I used to use ss mesh in my iAtty, but recently I went back to the original setup, I get better flavor and it is easier to change wick (for me), the mesh setup is a little difficult to master and if you do not do it right the top plastic piece could get melt. I used the lorderos33 method (the link that gredie posted), it works very good but you have to be very careful to not produce shorts.

Just made a ss wick for my iAtty. I cut a 50x15mm piece of mesh, oxidized it, then bent it while heating it up. I added a ody wick under the ss wick to protect it from shorting out and to improve wicking function. It's too ugly to post a pic, I'd just be embarrassing myself. Vapor production is just whatever, flavor is decent, and throat hit is solid. Take this post with a grain of salt, I'm only 15 drags or so into this coil, so it'll be TOTALLY different once the wick gets broken in.
