This thread really keeps one thinking… with the possible lack of quality control and all. If I'd live in the US I probably wouldn't care too much if I had to return a disappointing device with scratches and where the electronics are malfunctioning. But, living in Germany I have to pay (1) custom duties, (2) import VAT, (3) higher shipping costs to get the mod into my hands, and then number (3) again if I had to ship it back (if there's no chance for a refund then #3 again).
I really don't know if I should stick to it. I'm more of a bottom feeder guy anyway, but wanted to try out a regulated device. There's the E7 Sunbox which I also filed in for preorder (had not to pay anything upfront unlike SS) and it is a bottom feeder with a DNA30 chip. Whatever… for now I'm still in the queue.

Just letting yas know, i sent an email to them yesterday around 3:30 pm eastern time cancelling my order. I have yet to hear a response from them lol. Coming up on the 24 hour response for order cancellations they said they would have on their facebook site. This place must be run by children or something, seriously. You run a damn business....how hard is it to keep up on your ... email?

Thats what I was afraid of. I called GLV and the employee said they only have a total of 40 units. She didnt know exactly how many of each color. The owner is keeping them out of sight from the rest of the employees.
