S.S. Vape Pre-Order Hana Modz V3

If Hana is admitting to being behind, that's new to me.
I have frequented their FB page and haven't come across that statement.
One of the reasons I don't see them being wrong here, is that all other preorders from other online vendors are not having the same complaints. VapinArts did it smooth and worry free, locally to me Planet of the Vapes are on there second phase of their preorder program and still no issues....

Those statements are all based on the info and funds provided to Hana from SS at that time. There is no info to those details. What we assume those numbers to be, might be way off to Hana.

I am assuming no numbers. Hana has recently stated (like last two weeks) that they are yet to fulfill the original purchase order from SSV.

I still hold that both are at fault, for a multitude of reasons. As much as I would like to come out of this thinking Hana are the misunderstood good guys here, that just isn't going to happen.

I am not here to persuade anybody.
I come from the manufacturers end in the tournament paintball gun industry and have experienced upset customers who have to wait too long for a product they want.
I substituted "want" for a more appropriate "prepaid". Lesson learned for Hana, do not allow your vendors to pre sale or prepay product, especially with new releases.
Zenesis did a fair job with Electronicstix and Steam Monkey, no hate there..

No worries, people have opinions, they differ, I am actually used to a lot less civility and hope people don't take it personally. I never do. Met many peeps who i didn't care for on forums and then became good friends after meeting them in person and vice versa.. With that said I have some ideas on what Hana is going thru, highest priority is getting product out the door and knowing that meeting demand probably isn't going to happen in the very near future is probably stressing them out immensely.

If they said they have yet to fill SSV's first order, then obviously SS is not ordering via their pre-order list. I think they are just taking a crap shoot of whatever comes, comes. Which is why SS should have never done the whole pre-order in the first place. Honestly, as mad as people would get, I think they should just refund everyone's money, because it's pretty obvious that they are not going to fill them anytime soon. Hasn't it been a month now since they've shipped any? This is just one dirty situation.

I agree with you, I just don't hold Hana as accountable.
Production hiccups are unfortunate and usually inevitable.
Solely their problem, what they are there for.
Choosing vendors to resale your product should always come with terms, such as map pricing, presales, preorders and etc.
Clearly Hana is no MBA with business plan. Or even an engineer with a lean toward innovation. Just a seemingly improved well put together box mod.
Hana naively just let his vendors do whatever, just probably said COD.
My guess, is all they want to do make product while its popular, hopefully make enough to fund the next project.
So, they rely on vendors to do the marketing and direct sales.
Some can be assets or risks, small manufacturers rely on mutual interest with vendors for successful sales. Some vendors do it better than others. Obviously...

So bickering between our self who is at fault isn't going to get us anywhere or anything.

My 10 weeka is on the 20th. So I shall wait.

If 10 weeks comes and no mod I shall cancel and forget this mess.

Might as well throw my hat in the ring here. Been following this thread the past few days. Only communication I've received was when I emailed support on 3/21 and Brigid responded saying 8-10 weeks from the date the order was placed. Really close to canceling because I scored a ZNA in the mean time waiting for this thing, but I really wanted the Hana. Not in a hurry to get it, don't want to go on the hunt for a Hana somewhere, but also don't want to support SSVape anymore at this point.

I probably could have researched it before. I just knew that ssv was doing the preorder. Didn't know they were going to take the money first. And they did, which didn't bother me too much, because I gave them the benefit of the doubt. And we know how that turned out. Hana is pointing the finger at ssv and vice versa. Ssv has never called me or sent me an email to update me. They really could care less. The few Hana's that were sent were damaged. Hana says it's ssv's fault and vice versa. Yes both companies surely could of handled it differently, but they haven't. They got their money and that's all that matters. I am on the verge of cancelling. If they send it before I do, I actually have the idea of selling it. Maybe make a little bit of extra money to pay for another DNA mod. Even after all this mess I have never received an email nor a call.

I ordered a VS and I may have not made the cutoff. I got a call on Saturday from them saying I might not get it in time, that they are sorry and they would send me whatever juice I choose at their cost. Now that's service. They said I may still get it, but wanted to let me know. Way more then ssv did.

I don't like buying clones, but this hana clone is the only one I will buy without hesitation, nor will I feel bad about it.

It's your mod to do what you please with. I wouldn't blame someone for just getting rid of it once they got it. You waited long enough you might as well make some dough. As bad as that sounds, its what I would do in that situation rather than sell it for face value and not have enough for something else.

I was able to locate a Hana Modz v3 yesterday in a few hours using the Authorized Dealers list and email. I was told that they are getting a large shipment next week. I'm guessing if they're getting a batch, SSVapes might also be getting one. I was asked not to say who they are until next week. If your order is unfilled by SSVapes next week, I'll pass on the information, but remember -- the Authorized Dealers list and email are your friend.

I was able to locate a Hana Modz v3 yesterday in a few hours using the Authorized Dealers list and email. I was told that they are getting a large shipment next week. I'm guessing if they're getting a batch, SSVapes might also be getting one. I was asked not to say who they are until next week. If your order is unfilled by SSVapes next week, I'll pass on the information, but remember -- the Authorized Dealers list and email are your friend.
