Sabot DDD for the Billet Box

Wow am loving this CelluCotton 100% Rayon. It is really helping me. With the yarn or the ARO straight outta the package the Sabot-DDD was still being finicky for me.
With the yarn one piece and fluffed or adjusting the AFC was still getting some leaking (not liking my BB getting wet).
two pieces of yarn and was dry hit city. Even tried to tear one piece apart and put in one and a half. LOL that was a fail.
Tried watering my 50/50 DIY juice. And still was having to fiddle with AFC a lot. Was tiring of that.

Got some of the Rayon yesterday and put just a flavor wick on and great no leaking no burning. Fantastic not having to take tank in and out adjusting the ARO constantly. Just leaving it wide open now. Now remember I kinda chain vape and have very little drawing ability left. So don't think I am ditching on the Sabot-DDD cause I think it is wonderfull.

So thought that sense it was doing so good had a burned ARO head and thought I'll rebuild it. Well while looking at it the coil was still nice and clean so just pulled out the silica with some tweezers. Then wondered how I was gonna get the Rayon in that little hole. Hummm had bought a long handled bead or needle threader and stuck it thru the coil and then adjust the Rayon to go thru doubled and fantastic.

Found my fix hope this will help anyone else having dry hit or leaky tanks. Have a good day all.

Haha....I got the 3lb box. I would say enough for a few thousand years. Lemme know if anyone wants any (PM please). I vacuum pack it so it fits in a envelope.

I have not been able to get any of his juice for a while now would love some of his Apricot it is so good. Some day will get me some thou. After I get me a new batch of batterys for the BB that is next on my list.

Yeah, the wife and I had a good chuckle when the big @$$ box showed up on our porch. But it was literally only a couple bucks more for it than the smaller size (on sell and I had a coupon).

Pretty much tobacco flavors are all I like. Seriously enjoying epipemods Longbottom Leaf and Kentucky Bluegrass which were on sale last time I checked. 100ml bottle was like $28 which is as much as I paid for a 50ml bottle at Nicoticket. Also, Heathers Heavenly Vapes has a great Huntsman, Dark Horse and Heavenly Tobacco all with a summer30 30% coupon. Yeah, I like getting deals....haha.

And while I love the Rayon cellulose on the Kayfun and Sabot, it just didn't tweak me right on the Spheroid. No idea why. But it did get me off my .... to try something I had been meaning to do. I used SS 500 mesh for the wick and OMG is it the cleanest taste I have ever had on my Spheroid. And I thought what I had before was clean and pure....not quite like the mesh. Pretty much one coil and one wick should last a really long time since you just burn it off every now and then.

Well, talking to you on the phone motivated me to put down the saw and hammer for the evening and get me another tank going for the AM.

So I pulled out an old head with a vertical 2.4 ohm coil I had laying around, and proceeded to stuff it with some of that new age Rayon fiber stuff. Long story short...perfection!

We'll see how it does as the tank empties. I expect to not have any problems with wick flood since I have quite a bit of wick in there. The same amount of cotton in the wick channels would no doubt have been dry hit city. Extremely impressed with this Rayon.

Oh, and the flavor with this vertical is great!

I am totally enjoying my Sabot! I replaced the flavor wick with whatever was included (peaches & cream??), and since I didn't know any better, just snipped it at the right length and didn't separate any strands. I have the AFC totally open, using a 50/50 fairly clear juice that is still not turning dark. No dry hits, but I occasionally get gurgles, and then just unscrew the brass and mop out the excess from the top of the Sabot. I mostly stay around 4.25 v, but will turn it up to 4.5 when the batteries start dwindling.

I'm definitely a happy camper and would recommend all BB owners should at least try a Sabot!

I am finally on my third head, using the Sabot-DDD 100% of the time. Am liking it very much. Random minor leakage, not yet pinned down - am keeping it 50% or fuller at all times - get a bit of gurgle after adding juice, turn it up for a few pulls, and then all is well. Am thinking the leakage has to do with the age of the coil, as it never seems to happen with the first few refills.

Love the AFC staying wide open for me, and the nice lighter pulls (65PG/35VG) even with an older head the draw is nice and light - I am very pleased.

Will clean and put a new head on just before Surgery Tuesday, and hopefully it'll work fine with just battery changes til I get back more towards normal.
