I've been reading the posts regarding DIY eliquids and all the attendant warnings. Since I use 0 nic liquids, do any of these warnings still apply? Is there anything harmful in the vg, pg or flavorings? Or, would this be more like a kitchen project requiring only common sense, ie; not wiping one's eyes with cinnamon on them?

Thanks!

If you are asking about hazards in MAKING diy juice, then no, there should be no safety concerns with handling PG or VG, or flavors (other than the obvious ones like don't snort the tabasco!) Use some care if dealing with PGA (Don't taste it straight and don't get it near your eyes!)

If asking about health risks in vaping 0 nic juice, that's a more open question, particularly with regards to cinammon (can irritate lungs seriously!) PG (some are allergic) and possibly some other flavorings. Also, although vaping is widely believed to be safe with fairly sound scientific reasoning, it hasn't been proven completely safe yet (and the actual proof is by definition about 40 years away...)

You can taste PG and VG it wont hurt you. If you drink a quart of it you may get a tummy ache. It's the NIC solution that you need to be cautious about. But in your case your not using NIC so no worries there.

If it's vaping in general your concerned about as the previous poster stated there is no real research yet to state if it is safe or not. There are people on here that have been vaping 3 or more years on this forum and there still alive and kicking. As for me a 45 year smoker that recently quite 6 months ago thanks to vaping. I never felt more alive.

So as you previously stated this would be more like a kitchen project requiring only common sense, ie; not wiping one's eyes with cinnamon on them.
