I was wondering what the safety measures were taken with the eGo batteries. I don't see any vent holes for the battery caseing and I don't think they have a safe chemistry battery, so what features does joyetech take?
last time i checked a dead Joyetch battery, i could blow from the opened end (endcap off)trough the button part, if that for any reason fails or is not sufficient, the endcap pops off next.
so in my opinion, egos are no pipebombs.
It's in the electronics. The primary danger w/ this type battery is in the charging, which is why e-cig instructions typically say don't charge unattended. The electronics prevent overcharging & over discharge, etc.
PS As Kelemvor indicated, the button opening is unsealed or you could say vented.
