I dont know anything about batteries and their safety so when I see devices like the 5v e-power and the 5v woo/wow that stacks (I think) 2 batteries that may not be protected, I dont know if it's safe to use. I think the e-power is unprotected but Im not sure about the wow, and I dont even know what protected and unprotected means!

Anyway, could someone who knows about batteries check the batteries used in both and tell me which, if any, would be safer? And maybe a few general knowledge tips about batteries would help.

For those unfamilier to these, they can be looked at here among other places..

wow: New! 5v Wow Mod

e-power: Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - EGO E-Power

They both take generic batteries. So whether they are safe depends on what you get. For the epower, you'd look for IMR or protected cells.

That WOW mod is really a different device. I wouldn't recommend it for someone that's not an experienced vaper. It takes a variety of batteries. Some I'm familiar with. Some I'm not but, it really doesn't sound like it's right for you.
