Hey guys, I'm pretty new to vaping (starting in August of this year). I started with one of the little kanger evod setups and quickly dove into a more advanced RDA setup. I really enjoy building and basically competing with myself to drop ohms with each build. I never really gave safety much thought, though. I have been sub-ohming practically since I got my rda and recently I've been shooting for numbers < 0.10. My last build was a 0.08 and I actually used that one for two days before rebuilding. The atty didn't get as hot as I had anticipated, but the mod did. It was hot to the touch, but not uncomfortable.
My latest build reads 0.02 ohms and I am actually afraid to fire it... Safety crossed my mind this morning as I went to pull my battery off the charger. After putting some numbers into a calculator, I determined that this build is drawing 185A, much higher than my VTC5 is rated for. My question is, what are my options for running something even remotely close to what I have now?? I know people who are running builds < .1 ohm, and I don't how they do it. To my knowledge, vtc5's are some of the best batteries available (or that were available).
Again, I'm new to vaping and have really only been shooting for low ohms. I know there's a lot more to it than that, so if you guys have other suggestions on how to maximize clouds and flavor, I'm all ears.
