For those wanting to DIY saline solution, here's pure, USP sodium chloride tablets (fwiw, USP/pure is the only thing we'd consider using) Amazon.com: Sodium Chloride 1 Gm 100 Tablets: Health & Personal Care

It took us forEVER to locate USP sodium chloride/NaCl in a "buyable" pre-measured quantity (and from the reviews, we're not the only ones). We just ordered a bottle...how cool, "1 gram" tablets :) These (and the powder) can also be found on eBay. Most of the powders are ACS/Reagent grade - which is MORE pure than USP (but some have added iodine).

Btw, one 1 gram tablet + 110 mls distilled water = .9% solution

Time is short - the list is long. Hopefully some time'll free-up to post/share more soon!

Still a deal but found it somewhat humorous the manufacturer increased prices from ~$9 to ~12 after we2rcool posted their link. ;)

I've started using these tablets and noticed that when tasting the solution it's a lot less salty tasting than the irrigation solution I was previously using. Not sure if it's a good thing or not???

Any thoughts?
