Hey guys. I will be posting my updates here as well as the website from now on.

I will be shipping the first bulk order from build list ONE today, Its on the way to the E-Cig shop in Anoka MN, The other two bulk orders will go next week!! Then on to list two ;-)
I am going to get the emails caught up today hopefully!! Jay is powdercoating, and then Ill be shipping.

Just a reminder for customers who have made color changes to their order- The shopping cart we use will not allow us to go in and modify information that was submitted by you, When you make a color change I get your printed copy and change it there- You will not be able to log into your account and see requested changes

Method to my madness........

--- Now that the raw bodies are polishing up and the headcaps will be back from the etcher Friday afternoon, I am getting ready to hand Jay the first "top-sheet"
Top Sheets are the breakdown of the GLV's colors and voltages for a particular build list
his assistant will begin the assembly of any polished headcaps on that sheet &
Jay will spend a few days getting the powder coat applied, when the powdercoat is finished any colored headcaps will begin to get set up as well
** please note, full color headcaps will not have a logo, If you have seen this in a picture on line, it was done by request only, Etching is done off site.
--- Jay completes all final assembly and testing of the head caps and then I can start pulling orders for packaging.
I will send orders out of numerical sequence if the unit is within the same build list.
---On days of packaging/shipping I will likely not be able to reach the emails, I will continue to put all current build information I have on this page.
I am sorry but I will not be able to bump any orders ahead of their places, I know that everyone is in a hurry but its not fair for your order to get ahead of someone else', you may not like if orders were put ahead of yours

Jay - will the new end caps with the bigger vent hole be available for purchase on the "Parts" page in the future, so we can get them for our existing GLVs? And they are only recommended on the "stacked battery" GLVs? Not on a GLV2 Minis or SMs?

hey there everyone! Thanks for giving us this weekend to handle family stuff- I noticed the phones were quiet and I appreciate that very much, We did still make some good progress though building this weekend, Ill make the notes below....
I have been in the emails today, i did not get them all finished yet but I'm chipping away at them

The new end cap is going to be on every GLV from here out, Ill have the photo changes on the website as soon as I can- but if you order an endcap, the one with the larger vent is what will come to you, It's not necessary to replace the smaller vent on your mini but it is an added safety feature if you wanted to.

Hello there 3-27-12
I am up here starting to package the order going to Vape Revolution, We are happy to be getting these out so quickly- the first build list was over 60 units and the last of them will be shipped today, Jay and his new assistant are making great time with this volume, the next few list that are going are all individual orders (smaller quantity per list). Ill have some time on the email later this afternoon &then Ill be back tomorrow to let you all know what is happening here

Our GLV's are custom made to order, and owner built- here's the steps we take......
We have the GLV bare stock cut from raw materials at the machine shop- they are rough aluminum at this point & need some heavy polishing,
Polishing of all units takes place in the vibro-tumblers- we have several of them going 24-7 when units are inside, and we also run them by hand on a polishing wheel
Build lists are made by me, Jay gets a Top Sheet, that is the breakdown of the GLV's colors and voltages for a particular build list

"GLV Electronic Cigarettes normally take 7-10 business days before they ship. Orders may take as long as 15 business days when we are experiencing high order volumes. Custom etching is done in batches and may take an additional 2 weeks longer."
You really need to update this. I was ready for a two week wait (no custom etching on mine) but by the time I get my order it will be two months, not weeks. It wasn't until after placing my order and waiting two weeks that I got worried about the order and checked back on the site to find "saras updates" giving build list info. I wish this info was a bit more up front and not buried in a side tab. I'm sure I would have orderd mine anyway but I wish I'd have seen the "updates" tab and used it sooner.

I'm very sorry about your additional wait past what was estimated on the website, this pre-order was expected to be a longer wait due to that pay-pal fiasco back in mid December that had the website down for close to 8 weeks, Jay made a video to explain what this process was going to be when we opened it back up (Feb 8th for pre-order) I had sent out an update for customers to check the build list tabs and the videos that Jay made explaining this particular pre-order, those went out when I was printing the orders out to put into the build list, Sometimes those emails do not get read or end up in the spam. I do my best to stay as fair as possible with the shipping the orders out, and these units are custom made by the owner himself, and now some help from his assistant too.- We are the manufacturer of this product and it takes time to build them. I am sorry again for your additional wait and we are working quickly to get orders out
Please feel free to contact us by phone for quicker response, we are busy building and I can not spend much forum time these days while I am getting things packaged up

After talking to sara I feel better about the situation. I can understand what an undertaking this would be for anyone and they can see why I was confused about the lead time. Anyways, all is still good in the world. I'm still looking forward to getting my GLV and they have a lot of catching up to do and I wish them all the best.
