I'm really surprised this didn't already get posted here. Dr. Phillips (a well known THR advocate) has posted an entire satire piece on the hazards of e-cigs. Anyone who reads his articles / posts regularly knows that he has a sharp satirical whit, but it's usually woven throughout more serious subject matter. This post, on the other hand, is pure satire and is a welcome diversion to all the junk research and FUD news articles it addresses. Give it a read and enjoy!

My favorite part:

A new study out of the University of Minnesota revealed the deadly effect of e-cigarette liquid on rodents. They dropped 55-gallon drums of e-cigarette liquid on rats, from varying heights. The found that for even relatively modest heights — no greater than those found in ordinary houses that are home to chiiiildren — there was a nearly total fatality rate. They further reported extensive liver, kidney, heart, stomach, and trachea damage, concluding that the toxic effects of e-cigarette liquid on these organs should be specifically investigated.

I have some ideas on 'further research'.... Too much to bother doing 'formally' but it involves Prue Talbot scanning ECF for health issues.... as she has done in the past:

... basically assigning cigarette withdrawal symptoms as 'ecigarette symptoms'.

Anyway... she comes across one of Phil's videos on Kanger Subtanks where he says the one coil tastes like 'monkey .....'. Even though he posts a disclaimer that it was for comedic content, that's not good enough for Prue. She gets a grant from (who else?) Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and sets out to Africa to test this idea herself...
