save a post?

I see you wonderful people answer the same questions over and over and over. The search function has helped me tremendously from not doing that. I have looked and I cannot find an answer to this question how do you save a post on a thread? I've seen a lot of information I would like to save so I can go back to it but I don't know if I can save it. I read so much on this forum that using the search engine to go back to something won't cut it because I will have forgotten already what I wanted to save lol

maybe you could use your likes to do that? then when you want to remember something go check your previous likes? -- OR if you look at the bottom of each post there is a Perma-link button -- you could press that and keep the book mark -- it looks like a "g" with a number behind it

I usually use Bookmarks on my browser. I just tried Permalink- where does it save it to?? Can't find it now, lol.

it gives you a few options to post it to various locations / email -- or instead of left clicking it you can right click it and "Copy link address" and put it where you want. or follow the link it gives you and press your bookmark button.

the possibilities are endless

You could also make a blog just to keep important links in one spot.

Clik on the top of the thread where it says Watch Thread - saves it in a list of threads you want to watch.

I usually use Bookmarks on my browser. I just tried Permalink- where does it save it to?? Can't find it now, lol.

It doesn't "save" it to anywhere, but gives you a direct link to the post. You can then copy that link and save it on your computer, in a text file, on your blog, write it down in a notebook, etc.

I'm pretty vape smart but I'm technologically stupid as possible. I've never been able to copy and post links. I know you're probably surprised I can tie my shoes lol
