I think I know the answer to the first one from reading, but have no clue on the second.

1. So the 1100 battery I ordered last week is going to vape exactly like a 650? Just longer?

2. Why do people cut off wicks? I can understand for a bottom coil, but I cannot understand for a top coil. Wouldn't you need long wicks for the top coil? And I also see little stubby wicks on top coils. I'm sure that 2 extra inches of wick, if that actually makes things better, wouldn't be a cost saving move by the manufacturers.

Thanks in advance, and any links to threads which are concerning these, especially question #2, would be appreciated.

(my search-fu seems to be weak with the forum's search, so my apologies there)

Wishdog,

1) Just a longer battery life between charging, oh, and a little bigger size.
2) Some believe that the wicks are not transferring all of the juice content to the coil, thus diminishing flavor. I don't now if is true or not, but as an experiment I cut the long wicks of a Vivi Nova and could not detect any change in flavor. I don't know if it matters, but I tilt and rotate my PV a lot to ensure that the coil has plenty of fresh juice.

The 1100mah is just a larger battery. It will last about 11-12hours of vaping.

It's a little longer but worth the small difference in price. Remember, all of these batteries have a limited number of times that you can recharge them so for the couple of extra dollars, you are increasing the longevity of your battery

Some people like the short wicks because the feel the longer wicks allow the juice to separate the components. If you are using a thicker juice, the longer wicks will take longer to wick to the coil. With the shorter wicks, you have to tilt the clearo once in while to keep the wicks wet. Both have their pros and cons so it becomes personal preference.
