Saving $$$ by dripping?

Are you really saving that much money by dripping with E juice?

I have never dripped before, but just with all the info I've gathered it seems like I wouldn't be saving much.

Here is how I see it:

I smoke 1 carto a day. A pack of 5 cartos at V4L costs me $10.50. $10.50 x 6= $63.00

If I bought blank cartos and dripped:

Blank Cartos = 5 for $9.00. I've read that you can fill a blank carto 3 times, so I'd have to buy two packs of blank cartos = $18.00

E-Luiquids costs 12.50 for a 30mL bottle. Each bottle lasts 10 days, so I would have to buy 3 bottles per month. 3 x 12.50 = $37.50

37.50 + 18 = $55.50


So I would only be saving about..$7.50 a month?

If I am calculating this wrong please correct me. I just don't think a measly $7.50 a month is worth the hassle of filling and waiting.

If you buy flavorless and a few flavorings you can save a lot.
I don't have to finish any yucky 30ml bottles of liq anymore.

I think it just comes down to preference. Personally I use a standard 510 cartomizers and megas as well. A mega that is full will last almost all day for me. But everyone uses a different amount so I cant say that it would be cheaper for you. I have cleaned my cartomizers with rubbing alcohol and copious amounts of hot water and they work and taste like new. I'm going to see how many times I can clean and use before they work or taste differently. And the company I do business with for all of my supplies has 60ml bottles of fluid for $15.

If you use Bloog cartos you can refill them a huge number of times. Many more if you're careful.

So a Bloog carto holds 1.2 ml of juice... If you smoke 1 carto/day

1) 1 Bloog carto can last the week-- say 1 pack/month $10
2) 1.2 ml/day = 36ml per month... I use Johnson Creek which is expensive others use cheaper juice.... 10-20$/30ml so $12-24/month

So you'd be at $22-32/month or so+ shipping.

i use the bloog cartos as well and so help me god i think i've refilled this one sonofagun like a skillion times and it hasn't gotten a burnt taste, pulled funny, or effected the flavor at all. most of my juices come from Kick Bass Vapor and i find them to be VERY inexpensive.

I have no idea who told you that dripping would save you money. People don't drip to save dollars, they do it to swap flavors faster, or get a purer taste.

I rarely drip anymore, because I've become lazy, but there's nothing that compares to dripping on a really good 801 atty, at high voltage, using a juice that really tastes amazing.

Dripping on a great atty is like sipping good scotch. You're not worried about the cost or the nicotine, just the taste. Cartos are like cracking open a can of beer. You can still be satisfied, and you don't have to pour each shot.

i vape the 60/40 but i really have no idea how many ml i vape daily because i'm always switching between diff bottles. my guess is going to be about... a million? yeah about a million ml daily. seriously, the bloog cartos are the truth.

I switch flavors pretty frequently too.... keep several cartos in rotation, but they arent lasting near all that.... Ima hafta try those out.... do they come in low resistance?

Bloog cartos are 808. I've not seen a bloog in LR. They're a milder vape. Actually, I like them a lot. The resistance I tested off one straight out of the pack the other day was 2.8ohms. They're rather smooth, and pleasant, with a surprising amount of vapor for something that can fit on a mini.

I tried Boge's for the 808ds and I thought they truly sucked; Bloog is "the truth". Yet a lot of people like Boge's for non-808d products. Scroll down to the Bloog website and see all the 'will they ever die' posts... I would quit my 808ds forever if I had to fill another filling-like-a-box-of-rocks-must-wait-56.7 hrs-to-vape-Boge.

Not sure I would use rubbing alcohol to clean a carto. Rubbing alcohol is wood alcohol and is poisonous taken internally. Maybe there is not enough residue to do you harm, but over time there may be, especially heated and vaped into the lungs and into the blood stream. I'm sure rubbing alcohol does clean well, but I wood (pun intended) switch to golden grain alcohol or very hot water, the golden grain sterilizes and cleans, but safely. Just sayin...

You drip in atomizers not cartomizers...but either way you save a ton of money over analogs...not to mention the health benefits..wake up and smell the air..cause you now CAN smell the air..and its fresh and lovely smelling each time we exhale our glade like vapor......

They will fit on your V4L battery just fine. There are also bloog knock offs, that are available and cheaper, and I'm told basically identical, but I've not tried them, so I can't comment on them.

If you would like, I have a V4L setup, and could go test it. I can't see why they wouldn't though. They're all regulated 808's. Same threads. Maybe even made in the same factory by the same people. I dunno. But they're all interchangable. I even use my v4l chargers on my bloogs, and vice versa.

Yeah, PGA is cheap enough, or if you can't buy PGA where you are, use vodka. Rubbing alcohol isn't something you want to soak a carto in.

Same here

I drip for the taste and basically using a carto doesn't get the purest taste after awhile. I do not drip and drive so I use a tank carto when i go on long road trips. They deliver a purer flavor than a regular carto, although I will admit the dual coil cartos are better than the regulars. Around town I sneak in a drip when I am stopped at a traffic light if I need to.
