Down here in Sunny South Florida, vapers are not very friendly.

Even in the shops, they are so rude to you. I went into a "vapor & tobacco" brick & mortar the other day and I asked if they had Cartos cause I need to stock up and she looked at me like  and was really rude saying "We don't sell those and we never will." Okaaay... Weird. Bye!

This is weird, but I have never yet seen a SINGLE vaper "out there"! The people at my vape shop vape, but that just stands to reason. I'm wondering when I'm ever going to see an e-cig or mod in public. I myself don't vape in public (I didn't smoke in public either), just in my car, but still...

Don't feel bad, I lived in Philly when I started vaping. Never saw one there even though I walked everywhere. Move to Florida in February, still haven't seen the elusive vaper in the wild. :(

So weird, I wonder what's holding everyone back...I mean I do see people actually smoking in public so...

I haven't seen one in Philly either -- though I expect I'll see a lot of them eventually. I heard an ugly rumor a couple of weeks ago that the Mayor's pushing for a flat $2 local tax on every pack of cigarettes.

Way to punish those who are too poor to drive to Delaware, Nutter. Gotta love piously populist hypocrisy.

Typically when i see a vaper in the wild, i try not to make any undue noise and approach them slowly while holding a bottle of Bobba's Bounty ( or RY4 ), i present the bottle ( uncapped ) with 1 hand only ( 2 and they may get frightened and run away )... and take a picture.

so far i have not been successful in adding a blue-footed vaper to my scrapbook, but patience is golden ;-)

ps; their mating dance is amazing!

I saw two disposables in the freaking airport yesterday, the little old ladies near me were scandalized, I explained that the man they saw wasn't smoking, that it was water vapor.
Every one I know in FL has quit or switched to vaping. I went to a wedding in NY and got a lot of guff. *shrugs*
I love vaping on vacation, I didn't smoke in anywhere visible inside since you can't smoke inside in NY, but the hotel room, bathrooms, dressing rooms and patios were fair game!

I’ve never seen one in the wild, domesticated, or even road kill, and thought perhaps it was just me not being observant enough. I know there is at least one other semi local one because my husband corralled him, found out what equipment he was using and ran home and told me. I’d tried a cigalike with dismal success but tried the new recommendation and quit. Someday I’m going to find that elusive vaperer and buy him a case of his favorite booze. :D

I see them all the time here. In my little town and in Tulsa. I have only ever seen one other mod though.. It was a box mod and an older gentleman had it at the casino. I didn't approach him because he was eating.

Past that we went to the county fair and I had my Vamo (in 18650 mode) in it's holster on my belt. I was pointing out to my wife all the vapers around us (all Ego battery setups) and I was showing her what a Protank, Evod etc. is and she started laughing because all the girls were checking out the size of mine compared to their mans LOL!

I see a lot of vapors here in the Treasure Valley, population about 850,000. Then this past week I went into the mountains, stopped at a little town with population of 680, went in to the quick-stop store and low & behold, saw a vapor! Not only that, but the quick-stop was selling a few vape flavors. I also work retail at Costco and see at least 2 vapors/day, not to mention the 5 employees we have who vape.

my first sighting today!
The elusive vaporus humanas
Stopped at a red light light and a guy in a pick me up truck was huffin' away on what appeared to be some sort of Blu looky like. Brown with some silver trim and a silver fire button.
Hollered over "hey!" He looked and I held up my EVOD. Smiles were exchanged, heads nodded in approval and off we went.
He did seem friendly, not sickley and riddled with open sores.
