Hi guys.

I'm a recent vaper from portugal, that happily dropped the stinkies after 20+ years of heavy smoking, all of it, thanks to vaping.

I got a setup from a shop, and wanting to get a few more stuff to prevent that I would end up without a functioning one in case of issues, I headed to gearbest.

Browsed back and forth and ended up purchasing a couple of mods and tanks. This was on December 31st.

Since then the order was shipped, and the postal service is showing it as accepted since January 18th. No other updates.

Called the postal service who told me that was probably lost and that the vendor had to raise the complaint with them, as they were the ones shipping it, so I raised a ticket with gearbest.

I got no reply whatsoever. I chased them. No reply. Not exactly impressed with the service right now, and seriously considering raising a fraud complain with the bank.

Did anyone had similar issues with gearbest in the past?

Cheers and happy clouds!

Welcome to ECF!

I've never used Gearbest, mainly because I have read posts here about their poor customer service. I just don't trust them.

I know of some members here that order from them with no problems.

I trust fasttech much more and have ordered from them several times with no problems. It usually takes at least 2 weeks to get an order from them, Longer if the order contains batteries or items that are not in stock.

I hope you get things worked out.

I've ordered from gearbest probably a dozen times. never had an issue. even had 1 item show up in less then 10 days including weekends. They have a ticket system if you have an order issue open a ticket on it. they will usually respond very quick. once it says accepted it's usually 7-14 days before it moved again but that depends on customs and your local post office hubs.

I really hope you're right..

I did open a ticket with them last week and no reply so far.

The 2 weeks since the package was accepted by the postal service are gone, so my hopes aren't exactly high right now.

Thanks and happy vaping!

I had a buddy who ordered from efun IIRC an ammit. after about 6 weeks of it not arriving and ti was stuck in the same status like you, he filed a claim with paypal and got a refund. then 2 weeks later it showed up lol.

If it comes into the chicago hub of the USPS it's pretty much ....ed for a few extra weeks. that hub sucks. luckily mine all come into the Los Angeles hub which is pretty good

I always got my stuff from them but there shipping practices stink. Whether you can track it or not just depends on the shipping method. I have had stuff arrive while it showed no movement at all. I wouldn't worry about getting it. Just don't be in any hurry. I have got packages in 10 days and I have waited well over a month.

If you get the option use KR Registered It's super fast. 7-10 days

waiting on vapemail from china sucks lol
I love ordering from China, with free shipping on top of it... I have 7 orders floating around out there right now, something could be here tomorrow, next week or even a month from now... Surprise vape mail lol...

Hi Ricardo and Welcome- sorry to hear about your GB order- I have placed many orders with Gearbest and Fasttech, with pretty much no issues. Try another ticket with them, and I have used the Live Chat and they have been pretty helpful! One order I had was delayed because of a typhoon, but they seemed quick and responsive- so try again!
The shipping is the worst part, with sometimes terrible tracking, and SLOW, just keep on it , the squeaky wheel gets the grease! Don't give up, maybe the next customer service agent will be more helpful!

Welcome and glad you joined. You have to remember that the Chinese may have invented mass trading, so you have to be patient and politely state your problem. You will get nowhere playing hardball (there is an ancient Chinese proverb which refers to wise men catching more flies with honey than vinegar).
I only order from a Chinese owned company/mfg'r if It is money that I can afford to lose or items I can wait on. Sometimes its best to order some items (built in battery mod as example) separately, if you think you are going to have a problem receiving all the the items in the order.
Suggest be polite, firm and persistent.
