Scarcity and Production Issues

I may be speaking out of line but in an attempt to answer your question, (I would certainly welcome any correction from radiokaos)...
It has been my assumption that the concentration expressed for the Aroma solutions includes the total of alkaloids. Meaning that for a concentration of 24mg/ml for example, the 24mg would include all of the alkaloids in that measure a very high percentage of which would be nicotine (roughly 95%) and the balance (5%) would be the remaining dozen or so alkaloids that provide the extra magic. If my ratio is correct that would indicate a concentration of 22.8mg/ml of nicotine alone.

While this would be lower, the effect of the nicotine available, its physio-activity, would be enhanced and the other compounds would also have their own effects. In short, it is not comparing comparing apples to apples when you are comparing WTA concentrations to Nic only concentrations. The effects of each type of juice should be gauged respectively.

Personally in comparison to other ejuices; with standard ejuice I consistently use 24mg/ml. Whereas with WTA I am quite happy with a 12mg/ml concentration through the day, and perhaps a few tokes of 24mg/ml after meals and at bedtime.

Thanks for the input! I've been see-sawing in my purchases from 12 to 24mg. I knew that nicotine was certainly an included alcoloid with the rest of the WTAs, but I wasn't quite sure of the percentage, but you've set me pretty straight there! I wonder if anyone has tried to isolate those compounds from nicotine--would they have any effect on their own, or do they work synergistically with the nic? How would a 50/50 ratio work out?

Huh. Now I'm curious. I should (and should have) read up on this more--especially given the goldmine this forum is, but I get so easily distrac---OOOOoooOohh! Something sparkly!---ted.

Aroma doesn't have any competition when it comes to WTA or tobacco Flavors. The rest of them are just poor imitations but I'm glad that another company is producing it

After reading about all the drama with Ethan and Vapelicious, I certainly don't doubt you. It is nice to have another source, however, and though Aroma will definitely be everyone's (and my) immediate first choice, a little competition can be a good thing for both companies--so long as WholeCig proves to be as reliable and trustworthy as Jerry and Chris (and so long as they don't try to talk smack about Aroma!). They seem pretty legit, though, so I wish them the best of luck as they're just starting out. Until a vendor--especially another WTA vendor--proves themselves to be shady and deceitful, I'd like to support them :)

Interesting thoughts. Yes they likely would have some effect on their own thought I would imagine most wouldn't guess as to what those effects might be. The effect of WTA currently experienced is one that is a result of the compounds working together in your body and in a balance that is very near to what is in tobacco. I have a feeling that if the balance were to be changed the likely result is less effect, but on the other hand you may wake a monster that is better left sleeping. IMHO.

Still no nuport wta though. That's the one I really wanted to try. A friend on ECF sent me a bottle of creme brûlée and a bottle of DHT that he didn't want. I'm actually pretty set on wta right now but wanted to try something new.

I know about the desire to try new things--the creme brulee is super good (though a bit light on the flavor to me), but again, I've been in a strangely fruity mood. I should probably ignore it and go back to purchase other "unfruitables" that I've not tried, just in case....!
