Scratchy Throat?

I've been vaping for about a year now. I've gone through quite a bit of ego batteries, vision spinners, and mech mods so I decided I'd try a VW/VV mod for a change. I bought a Sigelei 20 yesterday and a Kayfun, and after a day of vaping on this new set up, I have a very irritating scratchy-type feeling in my throat. I was vaping on a 1.7Ωcoil and everything was fine. Human curiosity struck me and decided I'd try to build on the Kayfun myself (The Mod Father had built the first coil on my Kayfun). The build came out to be .8Ω

Yesterday's juice line up consisted of EyeQ and Blue Voodoo both from Mister E-liquid (50/50 blend). I alternated flavors every time I went to refill my tank

What level of nic are you vaping - another vaper just asked same question. He's using 18mg, but when he uses 12mg, not so harsh.

I would say its the nicotine. You are vaporizing more of it, drop your level down as DingerCPA said and it should go away. I had a similar experience with my SID when I started playing with vv/vw on different atty setups.

Turns out the scratchy throat was just early signs of strep that coincidentally came around the same time I bought my new vape. Thanks everyone anyways
