screwdriver 6v

HI, I want to make something similar to the that screwdriver that uses a plunger switch, in a 6V,using 2 rcr123a battaries, I already have the plunger switch and batt. spring, does anyone know if the 510 connector is just soldered to the battery spring, and what is the rubber washer at the 510 connection is for?,does it keep the batt. connector from shorting on the body? I hope to use a 3/4 brass nipple,(not sure what length yet) and brass end caps for the body. I just like the simplicity of no wires. Of course I'll use a HV atty for it and I have some 510 batt. connectors. This will be my first mod and mabey someone can help me or supply a name of someone on the forum I could contact! You might ask the guys at madvapes. They do tutorials on how to mod.

I`ve seen this done in a Copper pipe mod here. Or you may be able to use some ideas off it perhaps.
