Bottom fill? Mind. Just. Got. Blown.......

I have been putting it on with the fill cap un top. Now I realize that the end with the fill hole also has a recess for the flange of the Diver. OMG I feel so stupid.

To answer OP's question. Yes standard cartos work fine. I've had a Scuba for a week and used a Boge carto first. I didn't try the Diver in it until today. And to add to how dumb I feel right now.....

I literally thought to myself: Why doesn't this tank sit all the way down on the Diver, I thought it was specifically designed for the Diver?

I was disappointed and was thinking that I must have to get a flangeless Diver.

Thanks Jetcity.

Thanks for the info J--it is always good to hear from people who have tried the product. I was attracted to it because it had different color rings to use with it :)!

Preloader glad you got good news for yours! I often wonder how people figure out their stuff if that haven't found this forum! Nothing comes with any directions so trial and error is the name of the game here!

As of this moment in time the SnP is still in stock. I was really flip flopping between a Scuba and SnP for a few weeks. When they went up on the store on Friday I pulled the trigger on a SnP, steel tank and Provari ring for the 23mm tank I got. Pretty excited.

Pre -That's funny! I probably would have thought the same thing had I not watched the Atmistique scuba youtube :) I prefer the SnP 22 over the scuba... I know it doesn't have the pretty colored rings but it does have 3 glass tanks that come with it and those top fill holes are fantastic! You don't need a syringe to fill it, you can just use your regular juice tip because the second hole it letting the air out so you have no flooding.

The SnP 23 is basically the same as the 22 but it has bigger end caps that cover more of the tank, so it's just whatever aesthetic you prefer.

Chad - Domo vapor has the 22 in stock and they are located in Oregon. I got my tank from them in 2 days and they have great customer service. :)

SnP is way nicer than the Scuba. I ordered the 23mm SnP when they went in stock too.

Preloader, I use the scuba upside down if I'm not using the diver in it. Much easier to top fill :)

kbf101998 the colored rings for the scuba is nice to have but can be a pain to change. I sometimes scratch the plastic tank trying to get the ring past the end o-rings to the middle.

Thanks Darkgear--you just made up my mind! I did not realize the Scuba was plastic--I guess I should do a little more reading and less looking at the pictures! I do have the SnP 22 and really like it--so maybe another one of those or the 23 is in the cards.

Thanks for the link again J--

Also, the plastic scuba tank is molded and not a straight piece of plastic like most tanks. The o-rings sit on the tank rather than the end caps. The the tank has three indents for o-rings, top middle and bottom. So you really can't have a glass tank made for it. Sorry, I'd take a picture if it weren't filled with juice at the moment.. Oh wait, I have the extra replacement tank... :p

Ah--I see, thanks! No a glass tank would not be in the Scuba's future. I do like the colorful rings though :)! Maybe they will eventually do glass!
