What can I use in place of the tubes if I don't have any ce2's? I can always use an old atty for the connector, I already took apart a couple and they still have wire leads on em

If you have any old carto's try pulling the center contact out of one. I think the air tube will be close enough diameter for you. Maybe......

Mcmaster car has ss 304 weave mesh someone had mentioned it should work. Its about 9 dollars for a 12x12 piece I think.

Thats 80x80 per inch.
You want 300 + per inch.
They have it but its like 25$ a sheet.

Congrats, just remember what I said, the top for the mouthpiece o-ring is a tight fit, but once on you should not have to take it off ever. It is imperitive to bevel the poly tube for ease of installing the poly tube over the o-rings. I used a little PG for a lube to slide it into place. But that comes later after you build up the main body.

Hopefully not...maybe we can have a consolidated thread so as to avoid making AttyPops mad...he might start posting his song on all the assorted "my scubagen builds" and curse us to hear it for weeks in our heads...
