Hi Dan
Perhaps some more detail on the tube.

In the past you have said:-

Everyone has their preference; I like poly tubing over acrylic. Poly tubing is Lexan and virtually unbreakable unlike acrylic that will crack. I got the poly tubing also from McMaster-Carr I am using the Polycarbonate 7/8”OD X ¾”ID Part Number 8585K61 @ $2.52 a foot.

Poly tubing size 7/8"OD x 3/4"ID x Approx (Bottom) 1 5/8" Long, (Top) 7/8" Long

What detail do you want?
When you get to cutting the tube in the tut, it is easier to lay it beside the piece and mark it center of the two o-rings. Then cut.

cant wait... how do these hold up to 6v? 5 wraps = 2.4 aprox. . will that last at 6v? also, do you have a prodigy by chance dan? wanna see how itll look on the v3, the prodidan V3 :2cool: lol

You need to be running 3.5-4ohms for 6 volts, I would go with 34ga it has more resistance. Nope no podigy, just the provari.

Okay, I made my 4 washers from used carto posts last night. Mine were from standard 510 carts, and weren't nice and thin. Had to grind them down quite a bit. (Man do those things fly across the shop when they get loose). If anyone else does this, here is a helpful tip. Drive a 19 guage nail into a board, cut of the head and sit the washer on it to flatten it out on both sides. When you get ready to bevel it, drive the nail thorugh it, leaving the head on (nail it to the board) and then as you bevel it, it will spin around the nail, and give you a very even bevel. And don't pick them up right after they fly across the room (they get hot).
