Actually backwards. The inner tube houses the heating coil and provides air passage for the vapor to the mouth piece, the space between the tubes allows housing for the juice and it flows through a hole horizantaly and then vertically to the wick. As you inhale the neg air pressure pulls a small amount of juice up to the wick, after inhalation the neg air pressure in the space between the tubes pull air back in equalizing the vacumn in the juice compartment. Capice?

I ordered these nails from Amazon...
I thought I was just purchasing one 2oz little plastic pack...
They sent me a box with ten of the little 2oz plastic packs...
I must have about 5000+ of these nails.
I don't think I need anymore little nails.

Maybe this will help with the visual:
In the DSU4 I had juice flowing in from both sides as I drilled the hole all the way across. In the DSU5 I am only drilling to the center, this allows me to add and extra hole for more air flow.

Just a comment, and I hate to interrupt the DSU discussion, but my Scubagen is kicking big league TAIL over here... I've been vaping it pretty much non-stop since Sunday night, and the flavor, vapor and hit are UH-MAY-ZING! Gets better with every draw! I put my EC2 Carto tank on the PV last night to compare, and I can barely TASTE the juice by comparison.

I'm using a "Spring Pin" to secure the negative terminal to the Scunagen body.
I had to grind down one end of the Spring Pin at least 3/32" or 0.09375".
I pressed the side of the the spring pin that I didn't grind into the negative hole on the Scubagen.
I tinned the inside of the sping pin and then tinned the nail.
I pressed the nail into the sping pin while applying a little heat to melt the solder.
Once the solder started to melted and the nail slid into the spring pin I removed the heat and had to hold tension on the nail to ensure that the spring remained slightly compressed untill the solder hardend.
I show a piece of 32 AWG Kanthal secured to the negative post.
Please note:
The spring in this picture was compressed to tight and I had to loosen it up.
Why did you grind one end? Just to decrease the length of the pin?

Yes, I used a bic pen and cut the pen to the right length and used that for a guide. I cut the roll pin a little shorter to ensure it will fit in far enough.
A few things to know when using the roll pin for the negative post.
1) Make this your first step, as the body of the SGV3 will get hot!
2) Once you put it in, it is in, good luck trying to get it out. Make sure that it is ground down enough and you don't seat it too far into the hole. I cut mine using a Dremel cut-off wheel, I used a bench grinder to grind the first one, using the Dremel tool is much easier.
3) Make sure you heat the roll pin up enough to get the solder to hold to the inside of the roll pin and not to just to the top were it was ground down. I had one nail come lose because I didn't heat it enough with the soldering iron. The first one I did with a butane tourch. However, I've been using a soldering iron for the others, just make sure you are patient and heat it up enough.

Well I survived it, was too impatient and did it before you replied.
Oh yeah, step 1, absolutely.
I worked out the length as 9/32 and ground the roll pin down to it.
Pressed the roll pin into the neg post hole with a vise.
Tinned the interior of roll pin, and the end of the nail.
Heated nail and roll pin\scuba body with torch and set it in with a little pressure.
It worked, my solder has an extra blob around the bottom of the nail and my spring is a little too tight, but it seems to really be in there good. I put a little kanthal in and gave it a good yank and it stayed put. I'm happy with it. Thanks!
I wanna see it! I got mine down to 2 3/8" total length not including drip tip or 510 connector, and it holds 2.5mL of joose.
