Ok did a quick search, you can find poly tubing .125" x .25" x 96" for 7.40, and pyrex .25" x .16" x 12" for 3.27, SS .25" x .125 x 12" for 7.57
So options are out there for different materials and lengths.

Truly incredible. I come in with one half-baked question, and you get an idea like that out of it! BTW, I love this idea.

Every time I look at this thread I am more impressed than the last time. So that part will completely cover the element, and feed vapor up to the top right?

Correct, the tube that pushes into the top can be either SS, Pyrex, Poly, or acrylic so long as the OD is .25"

Okay, everybody is good at ignoring me lately so I will just talk to myself! :) It looks like a CE2 cup!

Wasnt ignoring you, just didnt know what you were seeing, LOL I see it now... yeah a BIG CE2 cup LOL

Old cover vs new cover:

I Like it, makes it more versatile for different materials, and juices.

All in favor... say Aye LOL

Edit:
Oh yeah, I like the look!

AYE!!!

That's the one :) Looks amazing Dan, Really great work. I'm not a huge fan of the knurling. It's functional for sure, but I think this particular design would look better without them. It would look cleaner if the parts were smooth and flush, especially with the smooth sides on the top cap.

This is not criticism, just my 2 cents :)

I would have to agree, the only reason I added them was as you said functionality. The or-ing was tight and my fingers slipped when trying to adjust the air flow. I suppose I could make the tolerance less so it is easier to turn, and then the knurling would not be needed. Will keep that in mind.
