Search by location????

Is there a way to search by location on ECF?

I was thinking on the way back from the meetings with senators in albany, how helpful this could be in the future to at lease be able to see every member in your state or region.

This could be a vital tool in the fight to prevent statewide bans.

ECF could you please add a search by state or something like that.

Besides, if the mods think an issue is important, everyone gets a notice at the top of every page. That is probably the least invasive/annoying way to handle it. If there is something you want to make widely known, just PM a mod.

I get that some people want privacy but for all the others who actually post their location it should be searchable right?

Most states/regions have a social group dedicated to them. Anybody who really wants to be found locally is probably a member of their group. Group member lists are publicly visible.

There already is...

Go to the sub-forum, eg. Announcements - E-Cigarette Forum
On the same line that it has "Sub-Forums : Announcements", there is a "Search this forum" drop-down box on the right of the page.

Very helpful, thank you for that. I was going under the advanced search and looking for a drop down bar to search in a sub-forum. I'm smart
