Ha's anyone experienced being told not to vape in public places because of second hand vape smoke, Lol
I actually us this as an opportunity to explain just what vaping is... that it is a moisture cloud and not caused by the combustion of an open flame or that any tobacco leaf products are used... I also explain that you can vape without even having any pharmacy grade nic added and simply enjoy the many vape flavors that are offered. Further I go on and tell them how I smoked almost two packs a day for 35 years and after trying everything under the sun to stop smoking that thanks to vaping I am smoke free since May of this year. I usually carry some extra discount cards from Mt Baker.. and more often then not.. somebody will bring up a friend.. relative or even there own desire to stop icky sticks.. I pull one of those cards out of my wallet and give it to them. I feel that the more people we can inform what vaping is really all about.. that is one less opportunity for big tobacco to convince them why our products need to be regulated by the FDA while they continue to pour out millions of chemically laced icky sticks.. which by the way I also point out the thousands of chemicals that are NOT produced by vaping. More often then not.. I get a smile a thank you or two.. and somebody always comments about how nice the vape cloud smells. Win Win for our cause.

go to Walmart... in the Cerial (sp) isle and vape... there will be several others there too... the FrootLoops hide the vape smell
Hey BK, I see you are from New Orleans. I was born there and most of my family is there. My sister's in Kenner. It was at Huck Finn's downtown where they told me not to vape. And now, there's a law against it! Thank goodness it hasn't spread to Kenner yet. I like the Treasure Chest.

99% of the time when I try to explain, people roll their eyes. Maybe I'm just obnoxious. lol

I have seen this a lot lately which kind of make me upset. when am out and about and I see someone getting there vape on and there just blowing monster clouds all over the place. even though it might not be in a super crowed area or in anyone's face. I always see people almost run away from the cloud as it drifts around. it is really stupid IMO just cause you're a cloud master doesn't mean you need to show off every chance you get this is what makes people crazy and paranoid. They just see a cloud of vape flying around and they have no clue what's in it. I also ran in to a fellow vapor in a movie theater and it was before the previews had stated and he was a few rows a head of me, and starts vaping it was a decent cloud but still I don’t want that going on while am watching a movie. So I just chilled a bit since there was nothing on the screen so I didn’t care at the time but sure enough he started blowing bigger clouds once the previews started. So I asked him a nice as you can to a stranger to stop vaping cause it is getting in the way of the movie. I don’t want to be a dick but come on what's is he thinking. He said oh sorry bro but 10mins later once the movie was playing he starts back up. So now am ...... so instead of just making a big deal in the theater I got my money back since I was to ...... to watch the movie, and let the management know about the ... clown who thought it was cool to blow clouds in the movies. it was just me either who was ...... about it either other people left and complained as well. This is sad that something like this happed just cause it's not a cig and it not harmful to others since there is no second had vape. Doesn’t meant its ok to just to everywhere and be an annoying.

I hear ya brother --- migraines are not much fun -- Most folks I have talked to cannot smell anything from vaping. The few that have told me that they can, barely smell just a mild scent and out of those few, most of them say it is a pleasant smell.

My wife only vapes strawberry flavors. I try new ones all the time. There's a few I've tried, particularly coffee flavors, which she can't stand the smell of, so I don't use those ones. Shame, because I liked coffee flavors. I'm not allergic to peanuts but the smell of them makes me gag. I've only been around someone vaping peanut flavor a few times, not as bad as being around someone eating peanuts but really I didn't enjoy it.

I think we need to accept that some flavors actually are unpleasant to some of the people around us. I know there are worse things around than vape clouds. Just saying, not everyone who complains about perfume is being a jerk, and not everyone who complains about vapor is being a jerk. We shouldn't get too righteous about it.

Yeah brother, there are lots of flavors out there and I imagine some of them can be unpleasant.... I mix my own juices and usually stick to a few simple flavors........ But also, I am a bit lucky when it comes to other people because I live in a remote area in the woods and am not around very many people...... Whenever do I make it into town (which isn't often) I vape inside of the car.... I have never vaped outside of the car and so I haven't had the difficulty with people that others here have had........ Out in the woods here I can blast away all I want to and nobody complains...not even the bears nor the mountain lions :)

What world do you live in where it's ok to let one go in close proximity to strangers?

These threads are quite enlightening and explain some of the apprehension people have with some of you who think chucking clouds in places where you can't smoke is some sort of natural right.

    Very enlightening indeed.

I really blame all this disrespectful attitude on the cigalike marketers and there 'smoke anywhere' claims. I've only been in these forums 2 1/2 months and I'm aware of the questionable ingredients in flavorings. If I choose to take the risk myself that's fine. But I'll never feel that I have the 'right' to expose others.
