anyone know how to remove the plastic cover, blocking the swtich on a Bolt by smoktech so I can rewire?
Does that mean they are screwing up already?... I have become a master at these. et me know if you have any questions on them.
I guess your time is worth ZERO $.Yea but on the other hand if your handy you can pick one up for $37 for crystal clear vaping then spend about $1 or 2 to rewire it and have a really decent mod.
Can you put up step by step pics on how to rewire these and the stuff I will need to do it? I wouldn't know where to start![]()
So I should be prepared to replace the cheap wire soon as I have had my Bolt for over a month? LOL, Sweet! Sounds easy enough though..... Any other problems after that? I bought the Bolt because it was so cheap at CCV and I figured it would be a pretty straight forward mod for me to learn to fix and maintain being a complete noob. Can't wait for it to break so I can fix it!! heheheIf you use them with stacked batts or a kick turned up all the way yeah they are screwing up because the wire is soooo thin. Once you replace the wire with standard mod wire your golden.
The other issue with the bolt is that the positive connecter spins this looks like a nice feature but what most people dont know is that it has a thin ... wire soldered to it. It's only going to spin so much then snap. I have a fix for this if the OP is interested I will go into detail on that.

I used a Master appliance microtorch to soften the hot glue. pulled the hot glue out in chunks, pushed the switch from the back out the hole and pulled out the rest of the hot glue. Removed the wires and solderer on my own. Done in like 15 mins. Simple
