If you use them with stacked batts or a kick turned up all the way yeah they are screwing up because the wire is soooo thin. Once you replace the wire with standard mod wire your golden.

The other issue with the bolt is that the positive connecter spins this looks like a nice feature but what most people dont know is that it has a thin ... wire soldered to it. It's only going to spin so much then snap. I have a fix for this if the OP is interested I will go into detail on that.

So I should be prepared to replace the cheap wire soon as I have had my Bolt for over a month? LOL, Sweet! Sounds easy enough though..... Any other problems after that? I bought the Bolt because it was so cheap at CCV and I figured it would be a pretty straight forward mod for me to learn to fix and maintain being a complete noob. Can't wait for it to break so I can fix it!! hehehe

Just use a little thicker wire. Probably worth it to pick up a horn switch as well. If your not good with soldering and desoldering then pick up a 510 connector.

Don't forget to check for short circuits.. Use your continuity tester before you start using your mod.

I used plyers and grabbed the center pin pulled slowly cap and all came out. I used a Master appliance microtorch to soften the hot glue. pulled the hot glue out in chunks, pushed the switch from the back out the hole and pulled out the rest of the hot glue. Removed the wires and solderer on my own. Done in like 15 mins. Simple

What size wire would I need to replace the thin wire that came with it?? Would you recommend a 20 gauge wire?
