The existentialist movement believes that "we exist, merely to exist". There has to be more to our lives than that, jj and I believe that there is. God has a plan, a purpose, a job for us here. Whether we choose to accept his plan or not is up to us. This I truly believe.

As for the ice cream, I am allergic to dairy products so that's one thing I don't have to worry about. Soy milk and soy ice cream are an acceptable alternative, once ya get used to it. lol.

There's a lot lot lot more to it than about what I'm about to say. Just keeping it simple, I've always believed that God's job for us here and now is to love and believe and put him first in our lives, follow his teachings, be kind to and help our fellow man (those deserving of our help) and help spread the word.

If there is more that he wants from me, he will let me know.
As I am now in my sixties, I just hope and pray that I haven't missed some sign from him that he wanted more. Just in case I often ask his forgiveness for missing up. Here I am thankful for Jesus: Even though my sins may seem minor comparatively speaking, I am a sinner, and through Jesus I am forgiven for them.

As we pass through life we must always remember that God is in control of the helm and he does have a purpose.

How old are you?
A woman walked up to a little old man rocking in a chair on his porch.

"I couldn't help noticing how happy you look," she said. "What's your secret for a long happy life?"

"I smoke three packs of cigarettes a day," he said. "I also drink a case of whiskey a week, eat fatty foods, and never exercise."

"That's amazing," the woman said. "How old are you?'

"Twenty-six," he said.

A little more spanking would help but these day's they arrest you for it. I remember my daughter came to visit one yr. and she had the worst potty mouth and no respect. She was 14 yrs. old and pushed me too far one day. I told her she was looking to get a spanking and she said "Your not going to spank me". Well she started pushing again and I spanked her. The rest of her visit was wonderful, she wasn't afraid or anything I think she just felt that I cared enough and we've been very close since that time. She now has kids of her own.

I was going to spank my wife one day, but after I had gotten her bent over my knee, I plumb forgot why I was mad at her in the first place. :p
