I woke up yesterday to find my Zenith II had emptied itself all over my Sensis. My fault since I forgot to close the fill port after filling it up and then going to bed.

The problem now is when I go to turn it off, the off screen either stays lit, or blinks off and on every 2.5 seconds. I’ll hold the fire button down for 10 seconds and the screen will disappear for a short while, then it will light up again and start blinking.

Being at work, my plan is to go home and set it in the middle of the garage until the battery runs out. It’s now at 75% and I haven’t used it since charging it up.

I’m guessing there’s little that can be done in the meantime.

Hi, dear. We are sorry to hear about the issue which you have reported.

Unfortunately, the leak has attracted condensation inside the device, which is likely causing the issue you're experiencing. I would recommend turning the device off (not charging it either) and letting it air dry over the course of a few days.

If it's still experiencing issues, it will likely need replacement.

Yeah. I charged it the next morning before I noticed the problem. There was no puddle left behind. Then, I saw where the condensation began in the pleather grip due to the discoloration. By the end of the day, the whole grip became saturated like it was acting as a wick, if you will.

It’s now completely dead. I’ll check it out towards the end of the week to see if can be resurrected. Thanks Timmy :)
