Series or Parallel box mod

I'm beginning to think that the NC2 really isn't the device for you, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.
I was going to post a description of how the regulated mode on the NC2 works but, I'm afraid I'll just confuse you further.
If I'm wrong let me know and I'll have another crack and at describing all three of the NC2 modes for you.

Mechs and VV devices are for vaping nerds and ludites who like a bit of recreational maths and making things awkward for themselves. If you just want to blow clouds and you find this stuff hard to understand, then a variable wattage device where you can just plug in a coil and dial in a power level is a better option for you. Again, I'm not trying to be condescending or patronising I'm just genuinely interested in you getting a good vape.

I think doing something for the first time is always quite confusing. Thats why I join here to learn and understand more about vaping and ohms law. I don't want to be that guy who vape but doesn't understand the law.

I'm offended from what you've said. I just want futher information to fully understand about vaping.

Yes sir I know about the ohms law and the limit on battery and resistance to build. But I wanna learn more about it thats why I’m asking to pros

I didn’t see anybody ask that (which there is usually someone that does and that’s one of the first questions asked. I didn’t see that so I wanted to know so we can get that out of the way). I have looked through the thread and it seems a few people have posted what your needing to know so I will leave it at that. Good luck in your future with the unregulated and mech devices and build safe and vape on!

Not true. Wattage applied to the coil is what makes clouds.

Just using ohms law
0.7 ohms @ 8.4 volts = 12 amps and 100 watts
0.175 ohms @ 4.2 volts = 24 amps and 100 watts

Sure, I get what you are saying. But I'm looking at those Amps and it makes me nervous. I have used almost nothing but regulated devices that hand hold me through the whole thing. I just barely started making my own coils, lol. In fact just today my first mech mod came in and I didn't even buy batteries for it yet because I want to make sure that I'm not going to blow myself up. I'm fond of my fingers and the skin on my face, so I'm a bit paranoid. I guess I just feel safer upping the Volts and keeping the Amps lower so I tend to think of Volts as the way to increase Wattage.

Unregulated parallel mode minimum resistance - 0.1 ohms
Unregulated series mode minimum resistance - 0.2 ohms
Regulated series mode minimum resistance - 0.1 ohms
