There is a reason that I didn't take electrical engineering or computer sciences at university. My mind just doesn't work that way. It is unfortunate that I purchased the smok Procolor 225 whilst on a business trip. The man behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful, but most of what he said was Greek to me. I just assumed that I would get the hand of it in time. Perhaps that is still true but I didn't anticipate technical issues at this juncture. I assumed it would just work and that would be that. I called the man who sold me the Procolor this afternoon, but he said he didn't think he be of any assistance over the phone. All of this brings to mind the teething troubles I experience every time I buy a new computer. I just dread that day because it will mean seemingly endless calls to technical support and a good deal of hand holding from the experts. I suppose I will have to visit the local vape shop and see if they can sort things out. Hopefully in time I will get up to speed, but at the moment there isn't any light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks to all of you who have so valiantly tried to educate my muddled mind. I am grateful for you kindness.

I found a helpful guide on how to navigate the setting on SMOK products, I hope it will help you.

I have mods ranging from 1% complicated (like a large dumb square battery) to 99% complicated with enough settings and chip computing power to leave this planet and get to Mars.
Unless I am messing around, I use them all the same way. 5 clicks on, up and down with the power (watts).
Start at the 1% complicated end. :)

You're over thinking it. (this happens all newbies, myself included)

For now, you only need to do 2 things.
Learn how to get your mod into W wattage mode and learn how to adjust the wattage up or down. Like most have suggested, start at 20w

If you don't have a manual, the guide referenced by @jim_87 will do the job.

Vape on.

my wife was using that same mod and probably tank. I found if I would take it apart and use paper towels to wipe the threads on the coil and use a qtip on the threads of the base to get excess juice of if wouldn't leak. she did find out if she left it in the car this summer the juice just mysteriously disappeared.

I ended up buying a new tank, a FreeMax Fireluke Mesh. The clerk set everything up so I should be good to go. Lesson learned? Buy local so that if problems arise you can let the experts sort things out. Thanks again for all the kind guidance all of you offered me. Your helpfulness is deeply appreciated.

All the best,

Kati

The saga continues... After leaving the store I went to use Smok Procolor 225 with its new tank and new settings. The Procolor wouldn't fire. I called the store hoping for a quick fix over the phone. The clerk didn't think he could accomplish much over the phone. Would I please bring it in? Back to the store. Within two minutes and a couple of clicks all was well. Well, at least for moment. I'm not going to make any predictions about what the next few vaping sessions will bring. Is this the last chapter in this narrative? I'm sure I don't know. Thanks for your patience.

Did you at least watch and understand what the clerk did so if it does the same thing again, you'll know the fix?
